I am looking to get in to the world of mixing. I want to create my won flavors and vapors. Rhyme intended lol I am tired of buying expensive juices and not getting truly what I want so I wanna make my own. So I am here to get advise in where to purchase these flavors (have already checked out the perfumes apprentice and mount baker vapor. And I have decided that instead of mixing my own pg and vg and nic I want to buy it all ready to go at the mg of my chosing anyone know where to buy unflavored let's say 12-18 mg higher vg like a 70vg and 30 pg mixer at? Starre freeman tank along with a istick50w is what I'm currently using for my equipment I'm alright with it for now probably will be looking to upgrade my battery at some point to get better clouds but I really need some advise and direction as to where and how to start to become my own mixer and creator of flavors (this is also just for my own personal use I won't be trying to sell or make any profit what so ever creating any juice) this is just me making some different flavors up in unused office for my own personal use! Thanks for any and all advise you have for me!

howdy - and welcome!

DIY is definitely the way to go - for your nic base, there are lots of options, personally, I use nudenicotine.com and have been completely satisfied with their product... @Sir2fyablyNutz should be along shortly with an awesome (and extensive) DIY source link post :)

trick is don't go crazy right out of the gate - mix samples, test, adjust - allow yourself some time to figure out what is working for your - I tend to use a good bit of TFA (The Flavor Apprentice - same company as TPA), Capella's, Flavor Arts, Flavor West flavors - have run across some excellent clone recipes that I have added to my permanent recipe collection...

I would recommend the ejuicemeup mixing app - great for printing recipes, storing recipes, organizing recipes (and trading recipes as they are saved in pretty simple format) - some folks use online mix apps, I tend to prefer the ejuicemeup one - your mileage may vary

also some great recipe info here and on some other sites - take your time, do the surfing - it will pay off :)

I say forget the mixer, buy your own vg and your nic and just mix it your self. If you are going to be upgrading to get more clouds, you wont really have the need for much pg or a high mg nic mix anyway.
yeah - i get the 100mg/ ml nic base from NudeNic, and VG (got some PG too, but since I tend to mix at 70% VG or higher, don't use much PG at all, especially given that most flavorings are PG based) - if you go this route, you will want to have some gloves/ long sleeves on when handling the nic in that concentration - may want to start with lower concentration (like 36mg/ ml or 48 mg/ ml) and build your comfort level with handling it... one thing to keep in mind with VG is that it is THICK - i store mine in the fridge, and generally set it out to warm to room temp a couple hours prior to a mix-fest... did i mention that it is THICK?

I didn't realize or even consider there might be an app for mixing and how to but why wouldn't there be. Great advised. And I will look at those other places for flavor as you mention and I can't wait to get the diy link. The closest I have came to making my own flavor is mixing them in my tank but I really ready to start making my own trying new concoction and never getting bored or burnt out on a flavor I just really have no idea what I need to start or where to start supplies and things I just know I need vg pg flavor sweetener and patience lol

VG is probably cheapest at bulkapothecary, get your flavors and nic from any of those other sites. you will need a couple of syringes and needle tips.

keep in mind, also, patience is somewhat of a necessity - a lot of flavors require some steeping time to develop

there are a lot of folks who go the straight 'shake and vape' route, with the thought that if it is not 90% right out of the gate, it's not a keeper - and a number who advocate higher flavor percentage mixing... i tend to take a median path, though i do use an ultrasonic (jewelry) cleaner for speedsteeping batches as they are mixed... creamy/ dessert/ custard type flavors seem to take a bit longer to develop, though your mileage may vary

Yeah I prefer the vg over the of also and I didn't think I was using a high nic mg but every shop I have went into is acting like I'm crazy cause I prefer to use nothing less than 12 mg in my starre freemax subohm tank. But it's just what I'm used to I prefer to have 18mg and because I don't know how to get it to that or how I would know I wish there was a way to just buy it already together just unflavored the idea of having to mix the vg with pg and adding the nic is quite scary, I know and understand nic is a very powerful and dangerous drug. Do you of anywhere to buy pre mixed vg and pg nic bases where I just get to pour it into my little bottle and flavor it up lol

keep in mind, your base will be diluted by addition of flavors - general guidelines of flavor adds are usually around 15-20%, depending on concentration of flavors - that being said, if you start with a 18mg nic base (100% vg), add 20% flavoring you will end up with a 12mg juice give or take - but would need to play with numbers a bit on desired vg percentage, etc...
