Okay, now it's really a lot better. still harder to inhale with than my last one ( can't even get a throat hit), and still doesnt make all that much smoke, but it tastes like it should now so whatever

Excellent. IMHO avoid water (opinions vary but that's my experience). Back in the day there were many threads about cleaning attys and I've tried most methods. Water has never worked for me. BTW I am talking about an old-school 510 atomiser. Is that what you have?

Usually black or silver, with a 510 fitting at one end and a hole at the other. If you look into the hole you see a piece of mesh in an inverted "v" shape. That's a bog standard 510 (grossly oversimplified). You're not dumb btw. This is complicated stuff and we all have to learn. The joy of it is that everyone has different ways of going about vaping. The golden rule is: if it works for you, stick with it.

The only V i found was the brand logo. I just got it cause the sales lady had me sold at "you can change the wick". that's how i broke my last one

If it is drawing good off of the mod try using an adapter I think we need more info to help you. What kind of PV are you useing? can you post a link where you bought the atty/ clearo

I should add when I use water I use very hot water

it's the second picture. i'm guessing that makes it a clearomizer? if the mod is the battery, then my battery is brahman and the clearomizer is (from what i can tell from the big "V" on the side) Vision

Yup, that makes sense. All my comments relate to the sort of atty in the first picture. You have many more options re: cleaning with a clearomiser, including water.

That's ok. I've used clearomisers but I'm not big on them. Someone else out here will point you in the right direction, I'm sure - or have a quick search. Sorry not to be more helpful.

Im not sure why it would be drawing tight then if its a top coil clearo meaning it has wicks going down from the top you can take it apart a little and pry up the coil gently with a tooth pick or something as it could be blocking the air hole and restricting the air flow.

Finally! Instructions I understand! I will definitely try that. I got a new clearomizer too, the nice store people let me switch it for another one of the same model (incase it's a dud). This one's air flow is great but there is hardly ANY smoke at all. It's still really new though, maybe it's just being weird right now

If you have any other problems, posting pics can be helpful for troubleshooting purposes. A lot of people have a lot of experience with different setups, so they can get more specific on what they need to tell you to lead you in the right direction. A good brick and mortar shop or vaper meet is also a really good place to get advice. A good B&M should know as much about what they're selling as possible, as you'd expect them to be the subject matter experts.

The Ego version has a full diameter skirt at the bottom end and the electrical connection part is recessed within it; the 510 version just has a small threaded nipple there.

I had one of the Ego version Visions which had notches in the bottom edge of the skirt for airflow, and it had a very tight draw when it was screwed down tight to the battery. Loosening it as much as possible while still making electrical contact helped a bit but I finally gave up on it.

The newer clearos are much better for airflow.
