My Joytech eGo t (type a) kit arrived in the mail Friday. I was so excited that I wanted to post something that night, but although I could log in etc for some reason I couldn't type anything on this site. Nothing is wrong with my laptop. I guess the ghost in the machine wanted me to wait and give her a real test spin before I posted anything...
So I picked the eGo kit up at my office and...could not figure out how to fill it. The picture of a tank being filled in the manual is so over exposed that it is completely blank in the middle. I waited til I got home to try again, and saw the little cap on top of the plastic tank, filled it, and vaped joyously that night.
But I am coming to the conclusion that I'm either not filling them correctly, or that I got a little ripped on the tanks. My kit came with 5 plastic tanks...or a couple more? Anyhoo, two were on the eGos, and the others were individually wrapped. Only the wrapped ones had caps, and I discovered on my first day out with my new unit that the tank I was using was leaking; the plastic seal had come off from around the cap. At this point I realized that while otherwise equipped, I am very short of said caps! Of course, I had spent much too much time opening and closing the tanks, in my excitement over my new toy.
I learned to leave the tanks alone as much as possible, and ordered some today, but the eGo that I was using today seemed to quit on me, and the seals of both the tanks I brought with me failed. Now I'm thinking I should fill them with a syringe, never removing the caps? And is clogging of some sort a normal problem, or is one of my eGos faulty? I haven't been organized about experimenting with the equipment yet, but it seems to me that one consistently has fewer probs than the other.
Thank all of you for this forum! I'm sure that the answer to this is already buried somewhere within it, but it's nice to be able to just ask the question. BTW I did produce some really acceptable diy juice over the weekend, and I discovered that those little lids that come with disposable Blus fit perfectly over the eGo tanks. I knew they had to be good for something...
