My new little 17mm wide Yiloong Mini Fogger (on a Mini Nemesis mech mod)

Like many folks here, my everyday vape is a VW box mod and a 22mm RTA. In my case, that's an eVic VTwo Mini box mod and a kayfun Lite-Plus RTA.

Well, I like to take something a little lighter and thinner that also fits nicely in my shirt pocket when I go on a short trip to the store, etc. What I used for this was a 14mm wide Kanger Aerotank clearomizer and a VW Kanger VV4 stick battery.

Well, this stick mod finally stopped charging altogether and additionally, I was never really satisfied with the vape from this small clearomizer that had a replaceable coil head.

I found a great replacement .... It's a "Mini Fogger" which is made in China by Yiloong.

This RTA is only 17mm wide and is built much like a Kayfun. Uses a single coil and holds 2.0 ml of juice (not much, but perfect for short trips to the store). Has adjustable airflow, but certainly not 'big airflow' that direct lung hitters would like.

I also found a Mini Nemesis clone that is also 17mm in diameter and takes a 14650 battery ... perfect match for the Mini Fogger RTA !

I make a 1.2ohm single Kanthal coil on a 2.0mm rod. 10 wraps gets me the 1.2 ohms. Since the little 14650 battery is only rated at 3.0 amps continuous, my 1.2 ohm coil only draws 3.1 amps when the battery is fully charged at 3.9 - 4.0 volts ... great for a mouth to lung 'tootle puffer' like myself that using a fairly tight airflow.

Anyway, I have had no problems from this little RTA and no leaks or flooding (the cotton wicking needs to be pushed right down to the juice channels in this atomizer).

Here are a couple of negatives about this RTA

1. The way the build deck is made, the coil needs to be placed between the posts. The posts are so close together do to the small diameter of this atty that the coil has to be wound around a rod that's no bigger than 2.0mm in diameter (that's a 5/64" drill bit)

2. The Mini Fogger is top-filled and will usually flood after filling (even with the airflow control ring closed off) ... but all you need to do is open the airflow back up and blow a couple of times hard into the drip tip and it will clear the flood (have a piece of Kleenex around the airflow ring to catch the little juice that comes out) ... After that, I never get any leakage or flooding which is nice.

3. This atomizer does not come with an extra glass tank tube piece, so if you break the pyrex glass, your out of luck. I have not been able to find any replacement glass tubes. However, I think this company will make glass tubes for you: Bedazzle Glass Tubes
The tube is exactly 15.0mm OD .... 11.7mm ID .... 32.0mm length

4. The airflow control ring turns too easily so I find myself adjusting on it all the time. Has to be a fix somehow.

5. This atty only holds 2ml of juice, but if you vape like I do in the 11-13 watt range, it will still last slightly longer than the 14650 battery (950 mAh) that I am using. Of course, the skinny 14650 battery charges in about half the time that an 18650 takes to charge.

It can be said that this atomizer must be made of "Unobtainium", because it is almost impossible to find anyone selling it ... Here is where I got mine:

Again, this little RTA really vapes nice ... basically about the same as the Kayfun Lite-Plus V2, and much better than that Kanger Aerotank clearomizer that I had before!

I get the scarcity, but in looking at it on eBay, err, is this really the way the post comes?

Like, usually they put up photos of the ones not broken. Is that like a wedge of insulator just shoved in under there??

Eskie ... I saw that image too and was concerned too.

Why they took a photo of a bent post like that is beyond me ... My posts are both straight.

I don't know what's going on with that photo.
