My new OCC Atomizers won't thread into my Subtank Mini?

I purchased a Subtank Mini and some replacement coils from an online distributor about a week ago and needed to change out the coil for the first time last night. I open up my new packaging and realize that the replacement coils I purchased won't thread onto my tank. I thought it might have been just the one, so I opened up another one and still the same issue. I then tried the 1.2ohm coil that was supplied with my Subtank initially, and that doesn't thread on either.

After looking at it more closely, the atomizer that was installed when I first opened up the tank is 0.5ohm atomizer that is stamped 5B. The ones I ordered for replacement are marked 5A, and the 1.2ohm that was supplied with the Subtank packaing reads 5C. Does this have anything to do with it not wanting to thread?

I'm currently running the RBA and used some of the supplied Japanese cotton and it's running fine. With that said though, does anyone know what gauge the RBA coil is? I figure I'll just rebuild coils from here on out, but would like to get it close to what is in it now, and fall back on replaceable atomizers as a back up.

Thanks.

Some of the coils I have bought needed a firm push to enter into the base before allowing me to screw them in. Give it a try. Make sure any and all O rings are snug and in their correct positions too.

Also, if you can post links to what you purchased, we might be able to investigate a little further.
