wahooooooo Pepper!!! Welcome to the 'ville!!! Clear coating is pretty simple and quick, spray can, and a big box, or do it outside. But yeah I understand time limitations. I've seen a post or two bout folks who like the darkening. Just watch em. If you start to notice and don't like it, get it coated. I think the CV's are gorgeous!!
You probably have, but don't forget to cut the inverted v in the bottom of the tube so it doesn't suction to the bottle.
and if ya want......get on the Reo roll call. They don't put ya on unless ya ask. You don't have to but it's fun.

OK, Deb! Love your avatar! You are the one that sent me down this fork in the road and I thank ya! I'll watch the finish and get to it when I can. I have the stuff, I clear coat all the stuff that comes off my dash on my Mini Cooper etc. I'll check out the Roll Call and the lounge. I'm just not the chattiest person on the planet. I see you are in rescue, we are too with the Scottish Terrier Clubs. My boss is a vet, that's where I live 4 days a week because her hours are long. All the kids here are retired, they were all top show dogs in their years, I raised most of them and the oldest is 16 1/2 the youngest 7. They are now couch potatoes, but right this minute they are waiting for the morning run, so gotta go..........my Reo in one pocket treats in the other

Thanks allpeppers [emoji1] I like messing around with my REOs and dressing them up. And enjoy watching others enjoy theirs as well. This thing has turned into a hobby for me. LOL
And yes, rescue has become a passion. Used to be a Vet Tech, but severe arthritis ended that career. So, rescue helps fill my "help the critters" need [emoji6] It is always good to see others become more aware of the importance of helping the helpless. My little pack consist of a bunch of misfits. But, they do enjoy life! One, I use for pet therapy-another passion of mine[emoji6]

Former tech too, mostly horses and some time in small animal. This is my retirement job
ha! Since I a have 3 geriatrics I am doing a lot of tech work here. We have to place most rescues in foster homes. We don't have much luck placing a new dog here since this is actually an established pack and they are rather set in the order. They are all old enough now to know where their spot is and it's where they will stay. Was a time that wasn't so, they are a b*t*ch oriented breed and it is 5 to 1, poor boy. He stayed out of it. Now they just run together and have fun.
Vaping has become a hobby for me too, it's fun. I like messing with the coils etc, getting it right......and getting it wrong. BTW that pix of the PDA sold me, what a great little shove in the pocket addy, great flavor too. I'm trying some of the older ones, Atomic, Reactor etc. You never know where the sweet spot will be and it may not be the latest and greatest.

Hi guys and gals, have a question on the clear coating the CV. I did check out the closed thread on doing this and that's pretty clear (no pun intended) But I have used this for a week and was wondering if I should clean it first with say alcohol to get off any oils and the like. I have painted auto parts and always done that but never painted this type of paint before. What say you all? Oh and just tape the firing button off if I don't do the inside?

Boys got a new buddy! CV got a clear coat. Every body got an Apex button and a couple Dready doors for special occasions. I am totally addicted..... I wasn't even going to think about the Woodvil sale but it sounds like a challenge [emoji2] and that's always fun

I like the CV but it does need the clear coat. I didn't think so at first but it does . It was darkening sorta fast and turned out I like it better that way. I was warned. Just something to keep in mind.
