Agreed. I read it three times and still no clue. Glad its not only me. I was going to say the same thing earlier but thought better of it. Probably why so many viewed it but made no comment. Slippy, maybe you could reword it?

If you were "blowing fuses " ( ????) then you were not building and placing your coils properly!
Absolutely no need to "modify" a perfectly good RM2 IMO.
They work great right out of the box!!!!

Couple of nuggets I got from OP's post, I think.
Center pin was not extended down far enough, easy fix back, it out 1/4 of turn with a rat tail file.
Post holes weren't lined up the way he wanted. Adjust them with a pair of pliers, if needed a small piece of plastic under the post in the threads to allow it to be tightened.
air hole larger, easily done by hand with a drill bit.

the post holes are suppose to be drilled in a line opposite one another! right or wrong? or is it ok to have the holes so your wire go's at a right angle through the post?

Mine are parallel to each other. I only have 2 of them and they are both this way.

he sent me a metal squonk post instead.
The damage to the post is what ive done trying to get this post to unscrew from the rm2, it was screwed in really tight.

Are you say a single post had holes that the entry was at 12 and the exit on the back was at 8 instead of 6. Or that the negative and positive posts where not both at 12.
If the later simply remove that post, drop a small piece of plastic or even kanthal in the hole and tighten to be at 12.

i deleted my first post because of the little girls getting off on it!
when i put my wire through the post it doesn't carry on through in a straight line, ive already used right angle or 12 o'clock and 8 o'clock i dunno why you don't understand

and i drilled the holes out for bigger wire, and tried to get the hole to open up more inline but its not easy when the drilbit follows the original hole

Mine was a simple clarifying question, since 99.99 % of the time some says post a hole not straight they are not talking about the hole itself.
Of the 7 RM2 I've owned or the 4 triangle attys I have(what Rob mods into an RM2) I've never seen that. I have a spare post drop me a PM and I can send you one.
