My new shiny just arrived... The Copperbond

Of course it gets here right after I had a root canal done.

The Copperbond Atomo V2 by Gille.

The last release of the Atomo Gille, all copper mod with silver plated pins and some of modifications from the previous releases of the Atomo V2. Recessed fire button and reverse thread locking ring.

Tested voltage drop and there is < .01 drop in voltage.

Unlike other Atomo versions and clones I have, this one experiences zero hot button problems.

So far I love it and is a nice addition to the collection. It was well worth the wait for it to arrive.

I didn't so much like this when I first heard about it because I didn't know what a Copperbond was (still don't) and didn't really like the engraving, but the engraving is very low-profile in 18650 mode. Me likes the looks of that.

By the way, Gille says Atomo V3 will be released later this year

The engraving is done very well on the tubes. I usually have the extension tube on top so it keeps the engraving towards the bottom. I loved my other Atomo's I had, so I figured I would give this one a try since there was only 99 being produced. I am happy that the hot button is no longer an issue. And I like that he kept it more of a brushed copper finish rather then a polished finish.

I'll probably get a V3 when they are released, I really like his work.
