Here's Nerak's, over a month ago so I know a few have been added since then.... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tos-storage-ideas-part-ii-38.html#post5189035

Here is PART of Westamyx's, I don't think there is a picture of her whole collection....http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tos-storage-ideas-part-ii-33.html#post5076935

RhapsodiesFire has an amazing collection too, but I have only seen bits and pieces of it.

I am just a beginner.

The Donuts are the best tip on the market in my personal opinion JGD & Oceaneco, Bert has been exceptionally nice to me with getting me the ones he has,,,I'm partial to them simply because they where my Beta Idea for the Trippy Tip Beta team, the no re-flux TippyTip vapes so well simply because it not only doesn't let juice come up to the mouth while taking a pull but it also allows a double chamber of vapor to be pulled up to one, there just a fantastic Tip and I want one on every PV I have :) and in reality EVERY TrippyTip is great that I have used there all just super and the handmade craftsmanship is second to none.

Cool, glad your loving it.

I've discovered by all the TT pics that I must not be very trippy :(

My stuff need to be geometric and equal or I get all bummed out. Guess I need machine made when it comes to tips.

You know, they FEEL a lot more comfortable than you'd think! And the two o-rings on the bottom make for the most perfect seal of any tip I've ever had.... and it fits ALL my devices! The top is smooth, and uniform in height (At least mine is), not curved or uncomfortable on the lips. You might be surprised if you try one out!;)

Yes, that's what I thought when I saw the donut shape/design. I want to get some and do some inlay work on some of these tips....I have some very heat resistant gems that would great if inlayed into his tips. This fall I'm going to start working on vape-related jewelry/mod cases.....especially for the Reos. I think personalized cases with gems, piercing/hand engraving work would be a very cool thing for a lot of vaping folks:) As soon as school starts, it's ON;)

Funny you should mention that... I went to a mine in South Australia called the Andamooka opal mine a few years back and brought home a bunch of their matrix opal. It can withstand insane high temps unlike all other opal varieties that are super heat sensitive.. it's also the most durable opal I've ever worked with. It's a black opal with every color in it imaginable.. when you're working with the good stuff:) These are a couple examples of high grade Andamooka matrix~

But if a user was careful not to let their tip over-heat almost any opal could survive.. but certain opal types would be more well suited for this task than others and the Andamooka is a rare opal version that is super durable and the tip owner would never have to worry about their opal cracking, etc.

This is my entire opal set on FLickr.. we use all kinds.

I love Opals JGD, Those Black ones are of an amazing beauty like nothing else I have even seen in an Opal, your collection is also Awesome.

Thanks! Yeah, ever since I went there in 2006 (Geesh, has it really been that long since I went!?) I've wanted to go back and get more straight from the source. This opal is SO expensive when you try to buy it through dealers online but when you go to the mine area and buy directly from miners you get really good deals. The mine isn't really producing much high-grade rough anymore. Most of the best material is old stock that I bought/traded from a couple of old miners that had huge collections from when the mine was still young. My entire trip and a month's worth of room/board was paid for in full... it was a work for trade arrangement. This opal miner I met online didn't know how to cut rocks and wanted me to come, cut up his material and set some of it into jewelry for him. I taught him some lapidary techniques ( gem cutting) and he taught me all about this amazing opal variety. I did some extra work and was able to come home with about 100 pounds of rough opal... only about 10% of that was med-high grade but I was able to use a lot of it and still have some left after all these years. It's my favorite gemstone to use in jewelry.. that and gem grade agatized dinosaur bone found in the Utah area (it's collected exclusively in the US.. very rare material).Have you ever seen the stuff? It's SO cool! The cell structure of the dinosaur is actually captured within the patterns of the material. Wild!:)

OK, I guess I've blabbed enough about my passion for gems!:) Thanks for the nice comment! You might be seeing some of this opal in some tips at some point...when I start doing it I'd be more than happy to do something for you or the opal-inlayed tips might be available through the artist I'll be collaborating with:)
