Hello All,

Just thought I'd share my experience thus far with the whole e-cig thing. First off I've been a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker for 24 years now. Brand of choice is Marlboro lights (used to be reds). Up until two weeks ago I had never even heard of an e-cig until I got a pop-up on my computer for the Smoke Anywhere brand and was immediately intrigued at the possibility.

I ordered the Smoke Anywhere brand and received my kit in about 4 days. To begin with let me first say DON'T BUY THE SMOKE ANYWHERE BRAND! That being said here's why. Their 14 day trial costs $9.95 and upon completion they want to charge you a remaining balance of $99.00!!! For one e-cig, charger and five cartridges! Bright side is I didn't fall prey to this as I called them and recieved their "sale price" of $49.99. Upon arrival I began toking away and found it to have a hard draw with very sporadic vapor. Half the time I got nothing out of it. And there claim that each cartridge equals a pack of cigarette's is such crap that it should be considered false advertising!! (equal to 3-4 cigarettes MAX) When I did get decent vapor though it was like my dream come true for replacing analogs! Felt like a cigarette, looked like a cigarette, tasted like a cigarette....Wahoo! So I began researching to determine if there were any higher quality vaporizers that would deliver consistent vapor and make replacing real cigarette's a reality. After watching many video reviews and reading a lot I decided on the Joye 510. $35.00 plus $5.00 s&h from cignot.com and you get two full 510's, charger and 5 cartridges. (If I had it to do over I would go with the kit which includes the personal charging case and a bottle of liquid....both of which are now on there way as a seperate order)

Cignot shipped immediately and they were received today. So what's my first day review? Hallelujah....kiss the cigarettes goodbye!!! This thing rocks! Was concerned about the manual button...not anymore. It can be pushed easily squeezed between your fingers and is barely noticeable. Consistent vapor on every single drag (like a cigarette) and I don't have to suck my brains out. If you're in the pre-buying stage for your first e-cig let me lay it on the line.

PRO'S: Taste's like a cigarette (obviously with the tobacco flavored fluid), feels like a cigarette and satisfies my nicotine craving. Does NOT smell like a cigarette unless you're right in the vapor which immediately dissipates and doesn't seem to stick to clothes, furniture etc. (my numerous non-smoking friends could care less about the vapor unless I blow it right in there face). Does NOT fill your home and car with ashes and butts. Does NOT turn everything yellow (actually tested tonight by blowing 15 drags of an analog through a paper towel then the same from my 510. Analog left the nasty mess you'd expect and the vapor left me with a paper towel!) Costs a fraction of what cigarettes cost and even less than I had initially thought thanks to some posts on this site which have led me to some even cheaper liquid sources.The 510 does not look like a cigarette (black with the option of having funky colored lights) which I initially viewed as a draw back. Now I wish I had gotten the batteries with blue lights just to make more people ask me what the heck I'm smoking so I can brag about it!! And, while I'm no doctor and the verdict is still out with the FDA, I have to say that the health benefits from the lack of carcinogens combined with my paper towel test make it fairly obvious to me that it beats the heck out of standard smokes!

CONS: I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I find one!

I'm sold and slightly excited about this if you can't tell!! If you're still in the "considering" stage I would recommend looking up video reviews on u-tube for the models you're interested in to hear what people have to say and to actually see these things in action.

Happy vaping! :rolleyes::thumb:

Nice post. I just recently started myself and had a similar experience. I decided to try one of the automatics at the mall kiosk. This was the White Smoke brand. They want $180 for 1 battery, 1 atomizer, charger, and 5 carts. I decided instead to get their little temporary throw away model at $20 as I already found I could buy a starter kit online for $30.

When I got my new trial toy home of course I puffed on that puppy for hours and loved it compared to analogs. It didn´t produce nearly as much vapor as I expected and the taste was mediocre. I had been smoking for about 15 years prior, Camel to Marlboro Mediums. I decided at that moment to do a lot more research on the whole thing. Once looking at pretty much the entire gamut of e cig models I decided on a Joye 510 manual switch.

I got 3 batteries, 3 atomizers, 15 carts, a charger, and 8 10ml bottles of e juice from litecigusa.net. Needless to say I missed my little buddy the analog yesterday but today I know I will never touch one of those again unless the FDA or the big bad tobacco companies successfully ban e cigs.

There is no comparison for the EXPENSIVE White Smoke models as compared to the Joye 510. The White Smoke models are cheaply made overpriced toys made to rob uneducated masses compared to the 510! I get great vapor production and flavor as well as a throat hit that compares to my old buddy the analog.

I have had almost a similar experience... I started with SE Gold... it was good enoug to get me off analogs... then I found this forum and subsequently my Joye 510 from Cignot... I couldn't be happier! And it both sickens and saddens me that the FDA is going to force me back to analogs.... I can breath again... not those short shallow breaths that are common amongst smokers.... but a big deep breath that doesn't hurt or render me useless until the coughing subsides..... I no longer feel as if I am suffocating due to lack of lung capacity... My sense of smell and taste is returning... my hubby, who is very "anti-smoking" is even a fan of these... I have been analog free for a month now and I don't want to go back.... I don't miss it at all...

On a side note, I have turned 5 people I know into vapers, 3 more waiting to try my SE... and I feel almost guilty because I am afraid they will be as crushed as me if the FDA bans them....
