This is my oak and cedar mod. I have went through at least 4 boxes and kept messing them up then the eye problem happened and didn't help. Anyway after about 3 months of working on it in my spare time or when I wasn't building another mod I got it close enough to show.It is run with 2 14500 highdrains. It has a shut off switch on the back and uses a KR808D-1 connector. I started using these connectors because I pretty much use cartos exclusively. I put a fast colorchanging LED in it but it was too bright so I put that little cover on it to tone it down. The little knob on the bottom is to change the voltage setting to the desired level to vape at. I've been using it for about 4 day's and this PV really functions very well. All comments and critisisms are gladly excepted.

Wow 5cardstud that looks sweet. Oak and cedar.
Great job although I don`t understand what you have in there to switch the voltage. Very interesting. And that LED cover is a fantastic job. Really adds to this mod and formed nicely to the atomizer area.

Edited to add is that mailing box got my address on it. Wow to cool.

Love it! I'm a woodworker here in Michigan and have been modding for a few months. I've been mostly making copper mods with decorative veneers on them but have been planning some carved and turned designs lately. I love the idea of using wood on these things.
I'm wondering how the cedar will hold up to normal everyday wear and tear though. It's a pretty soft wood. I see that most of it is oak and should be fairly tough. I did a Chuck with a curly maple and walnut marquetry piece of a tree veneered on it. I've been using it for a couple weeks to test the durability and finish. It's showing a little bit of wear but I think it's just giving it character.
Here's a couple of pics I just took a couple minutes ago.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
Very slick indeed, I like the cedar band, good for orientation when picking it up. I bet you can get some jaws dropping with this by popping it open to explain vaping to those who have no idea on the subject. It is packed in there but tidy and all to good purpose. Does the knob effectively become the good mood controller?

Here's the spec sheet for the regulator I originally posted way back -- I have two units going with this regulator and they are great. Nice work with the Box
Kudos :toast: 5Cardstud

And please correct me if I am wrong on the regulator Stud -- just all too familiar with the design - and, well, it looks EXACTLY like mine

Ya, thats the regulator, I couldn't remember who posted it but said I found it when I first joined, I guess I should have put that in there. I'm sure glad you posted it. I sure like the way they work.:2cool::vapor:

That is so awesome. Very nicely done. I want one! I'm also curious how long it took you to craft the box before beginning the inner workings. Can I ask where you got the box for that mod? I've always wanted a wooden box mod =)

Thats what took all the time. I kept breaking them or messing them up. That box wasn't too long to make it's just hard cause you keep making them smaller and thinner and then you go too far. This one survived the constant reduction.:)
