Hi everybody! Glad that a friend of mine recommended this site and introduced me to vaping. Bought myself an Ego Ce4 kit Friday and have cut my cigarette intake by almost 3/4s. Anyway I am very happy with the form factor of the ce4 being slim and convenient to slip into my pocket, however sometimes the vapor output isn't all that great. In fact I think I may have a dud in my hands. The ones that came witht the kit work ok but the third one I bought tastes burnt. Using grape ejuice in that one. The real question is: is there a clearo that fits about the same form factor but with better vapor output. Thanks in advance and sorry for the book I just wrote...

I like your suggestions ^^^^^^^^. Bottom coils are going to give you better wicking and fewer dry hits (and burned tastes), provided you don't get your temperature at the coil too high. A good starting point is about 6.8 - 7.0 Watts for the darker sweeter juices. Adjust up (likely) or down from there, again depending on juice. The Davide is very good to and I prefer it to the Protank 1. However, the new PT 2 is out now and may be comparable to the Davide now. After all, the PT2 is modeled after the success of the Davide. If form factor is critical, try the Davide mini or PT2 mini. If you wish to upgrade your battery consider the iTaste 3.0. My two cents.

Oh and in case noone mentions it...the techique for hitting an e-cig is different from an analog

I have a bottom feed tank...first time I used it...hit it like I was sucking down a Red..after a day...got the WORST burnt taste in the world...after replacing the element...good for a while...then saw some video's on youtube...guys were puff puff puffing on em, so...I switched up to a triple tap...kinda like either a pipe or trying to get a 1/2 lit analog rolling...puff, puff, draw

I get ALOT better vapor and I don't get the burned/chemical taste...just like with racking the slide on a double spring pistol..it's all about technique!

Thanks for the advice guys. The evod looks like something I could live with as far as form factor is concerned. The lady over at the brand new vape shop ( and the only real vape shop so far) is really pushing everyone to buy a viva nova. But for me it just seems bulky and at the shop overpriced compared to online. And the additional collar thing to make it look "bette" Still looks like a transformer on a poll to me. Fine for home use but not at work.

WarHawk appreciate the slide ref.
