what a review clyde!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a little flicke too so I improve GGTS all the time.:D:D

I have 3 new features on near feature. You gave to GGTS 5 to 5 in some points. The 4 and 4,5 points that you gave to GGTS will be eliminated with the new button , the fuse and something else that I cant say now. 5 to 5 will be the score in a while.:):)

thanks a again for this exellent review buddy and thanks for your time to sit and write so nice, big and detailed review:thumbs::thumbs:

I also have an issue with swapping out adapters, I lose small parts easily. How big of a pain is it to put that adapter on? And I read that it comes with the unit and is stored on the switch somewhere?

As I said in the other thread, a great an unbiased review. Also a kudos for thanasis that he keeps such an eye on the boards and is quick to respond to user issues.

The adapter is small but if you use 901 attys then it's no problem Wafflestomper. Imeo made some single atty adapters as well for those of us who don't change what we vape. I am a 901 iattie guy with my AFS and loving it more than my girlfriend... shh!!! don't tell her though.. haha

I usually use 901s or 510s and/or carts. But with an AFS system, hopefully I won't have to deal with carts either. The 801 is good medium ground, but I just don't always like the size of the thing.

I totally Understand, my wife knows her place... But I know my place as well, I'm merely the refiller of her 808 carts.

Well here is a quick problem solver for you Waffle... I leave the adapter in my 901 attys when I'm not using my AFS so that I don't lose it. When I want to use the AFS it's already there so I just screw it in like a 510. the 510 and 801 doesn't use the adapter so you are good there. If you get a slim for you wife I don't think that you will need an adapter for the cartomizers. I'm just glad that my girlfriend doesn't vape so I don't have to share my GG's.... Is that bad??

In the land of no hills and red dirt
Been playing with another mod lately, and the Grande and AVS on the GGTS before that.

In the meanwhile, Randy-who convinced me to sell him #61 out of desperation when VK was out of stock-has been happily vaping KR808D-1's. He's popped the top off of them and is dripping into the carto. Fascinating. And I got the chance to talk with SSRob about upcoming events, etc., and he mentioned he's doing cartos on his GG as well.

I've got three packs of 808's waiting to be holed for the AVS, so I decided to pop one out and try it with my old top and a aw 18650 to go 'old school' this morning. Not bad, even at 3.7v.

Admittedly, I've never tried vaping just plain cartos before. But I can see how they would be a valid alternative to atomizers, especially for new vapers. No muss, no fuss, and hopefully refillable once or twice.

Yes, I know I can get more intense vape by going 6v on the carto. But the 18650's battery life should make it to be more of an all day on the go solution.

Give Imeos 510 adapter a go with 2.2 ohm 510 cartos at 3.7V... very nice..

1. Where do I get the cartos in the states?
2. Do they need punched like the 808's?
3. My CR seems to have seized up on the collection tank. Best way to loosen?

Thanks.

If it's seized then it's quite possibly some e-liquid that's got into the threads and glued the ring to the tube.

I'd be inclined to take that section off and bathe it in some quite hot water for a good while. Aluminium doesn't rust so it should be safe.
The water should dissolve any gunge build up and the heat (wear some rubber gloves) should make the ring expand a tiny amount so while hot after several hours bathing try losening the CR.
Lubricate it after you've removed it.

If you're still totally stuck then I guess penetrating oil like WD40 would be the next step.
