My order arrived!!

I placed my very first order on Thursday afternoon, and here it is only Monday and my order has arrived! Outstanding service!

I started with a small order, this is my first experience with an ecig so I just went with the mini PT kit since I'm at or near the computer most of the time and wanted to make sure it would be the answer for me before I invested a lot of money. I think I might have been a bit overzealous with my first drag because I about coughed up a lung so I backed off on length of pull until I could handle a bit more.

So far seven hours without smoking and very little craving for one, a few hits on the VK and that craving is gone so I really feel this will be the answer for me, thank you V4L!

I do notice that I really do not have much vapor production with either type of cart I ordered (pineapple and kamel both 24mg). I'm guessing it is because I tend to fill my mouth then pull it into my lungs and hold it for a couple seconds before exhaling? It also leaves a "peppery" feeling in my mouth which I assume is from the nicotine because it reminds me of chewing nicotine gum.

I'm really quite pleased and impressed and will likely be ordering a larger kit real soon! My boyfriend is not as impressed but then he hasn't managed to figure out how to take a drag without coughing his lungs up and tells me I look like a doofus when I'm using mine so he just doesn't see himself using one in public. I'll be working on him, I wonder if withholding backrubs will help....

Congrads! I'm new to this as well, but found that after my batteries were fully charged the vapor production was MUCH better and I didn't have to pull as long.

Nothing to charge on the usb PT and that's what I'm mainly using.

Taryn, The passthru is a bit stronger the the regular batteries. The peppery taste is the nic, if you find it too much, step down a bit in nic. Save the strongest one for when you crave an analog the most, like the morning or after dinner. You'll find you get use to vapor very fast, then an analog will taste hot and burnt to you.

Your point about holding it in is also correct. In fact, this is how we "stealth" vape. You pull it in, hold for about 5 seconds, and there is very little vapor on the exhale. This makes it easier to vape in "non-smoking" areas and allows you to be discreet about it. I have read here that the nicotine is absorbed more through the mouth than the lungs with vaping, so you make actually find that you get a better "hit" if you just pull it in and immediately exhale it out. This will keep you from coughing up a lung and allow more vapor to hit your mouth (since you will get it on exhale and on inhale).

I could be full of it...in fact I am known to be full of it...but give it a go anyway!

Tell your man, that my hubby - a former marine - loves his VK. He is all man and he vapes proudly in public or if you want to really hammer it home, ask your honey if he thinks chemo or COPD is more cool than vaping? I don't know about you, but there is something about a man with an oxygen tank that just turns me off. Call me shallow I suppose.

Welcome Taryn! Steve's got new batteries coming out with just one logo at the top. Your boyfriend might like those better, especially if he's not tethered to the computer. I, personally, love my PT's and so does my boyfriend. The first time your boyfriend has to step out to smoke an analog in extreme weather and you don't, he'll be more interested ...
