Edit: Thought I should tell you my failure first. Back in 2009 probably (not sure the year but I remember it was in the winter) I bought a volcano E-cig. I knew nothing about ecigs at the time but im guessing it was probably a 150mAh battery or something like that... they gave me some bad atomizers and prefilled cartos. The ecig leaked everywhere and provided no throat hit with almost no vapor. I got duped and paid over 100$ for my entire setup to complete disappointment I was turned away from ecigs for quite awhile.

This is my success story as I have avoided over 1000 analogs (PAD smoker). It's only been 2 months since I started vaping but the combination of reduced fatigue, better eating (more appetite), clean breathing, the ability to smell once again, all my stuff smelling clean and not reeking of cigarette smoke, etc. etc. has made me decide that nothing will make me revert to analogues again. If all my vaping products died simultaneously I would find another source of nicotine rather than ever revert back.

What I wanted to say was the influence that my vaping has had on others. One day (Very beginning of August) was when I decided to do my research on E-cigs that landed me on this forum. Since then my best friend back home has completely changed over to an e-cig. He had an aunt who was a 2PAD a smoker that took an interest in the E-cig. She converted over to it with his help. I personally had 2 family members who were smokers approach me with the Ecig in interest. They also bought starter kits recommended by me.

In my dorm room I live in a quad with 3 cigarette smokers. People get interested when theyve never seen ecigs before. Some of them had used cheap mall ones before but were astounded by the power throat hit and vapor it could produce. Well, 2 weeks ago one of them bought an ego twist setup with a tank and some boge cartos. And today another one of them bought a setup. Now 3 (including me) of my roomates are on the vaporizer :). There is one last person who is very interested but they are hard on cash at the moment.

I have not been pushing my electronic cigarette on anyone, I just find it amazing that in a 2 month period people trying the ecig for themselves has caused 6 people in my life to change from analogs :)
