Oh well, at my age I never had a chance anyhow.

I can remember chasing 'em, I just can't remember why.

It's okay. I never had a chance either. I am what you call, hair challenged. *sniff* :( It started going when I was 23 and has been the way it is now since 30. Now that 40 is, well, just around the corner..

At least I got my new toy for Chirstmas. My little eBook reader that I turned into an Android tablet. Runs awesome too!

See that smile. That is because, not only did I get a NookColor and hacked it in about 10 minutes but, it worked too! HA!

I am still loving my little toy. I just read the Witch and Wizard series on it -- there are only 2 books out so far -- and am going to start reading the Lord of Dus and the Percy Jackson series on it. I also have games like Sudoku Daily, Dungeon Hunter, Dungeon Defenders and Asphalt 5 on it.

I like to read the books my daughter is into. We can spend hours talking about books. She is the coolest 11-year-old in the world!

Your NookColor and Android Tablet are just too cool for words LD.

And aren't kids just the greatest thing in the world? We had eight and I'll tell ya, we enjoyed every one of them and to this day they are a source of delight. And now that we have grandbabies, its even better!

It is a cool little bugger. I thought that once I had it turned into a tablet, I would be using it for all sorts of great things. And, although I do use it to read my news, browse some sites and game, I am mostly using it as an ereader. Go figure, it is just the perfect size for an ereader. I never got into reading on my iPad but, the NookColor is the perfect size.

Yes, having kids is very cool. When I got custody of Abi 8 years ago, I was pretty scared of being a single Dad. I didn't know if I could do it. Now, I don't think there is anything I would rather be doing. When she goes to her Mom's house every-other weekend, I don't even know what to do with myself.

She had a great birthday/Chistmas this year. I got her an iPod Touch (which took those grainy pictures), a Cruz Reader (an eBook reader), the uDraw tablet (a drawing tablet for the Wii), and a ton of smaller gifts (earrings, nail art kits and other girly stuff). On top of that, everyone else in the family spoiled her too.

Hey LD,

I didn't know you were a member of the single dads club.:vapor: I raised two. Support systems are key. Especially with girls. In a couple years she's going to want a female perspective on the changes she's going through. Hopefully she's close with your mom and other women she will feel comfortable with.

My daughter went to me sister and mother with "stuff" she didn't want to talk to be about.

Oh and the most important life prep you can do for her; spoil her rotten! That way she'll refuse to accept less from her future husband.:2cool:

Oh no ab... I would hate to be sat on and lost in the "Black Hole of doom"....Not even light can escape it.

Don't worry Brother I wouldn't wish that on an enemy.:( It gets much worst, I'll go find the post and put the link here so you can see how bad it can be. I'd also be careful vaping Applewood in a southernly wind. Those two women's sense of smell is uncanny.

Yeah Ab, how did you get out of that?

And by the way. Was it you that said it looked like Nixdaddy's head was on upside down?

The Master of redirection! You've been working pretty hard hoping we didn't notice. Didn't work! What did Mrs T do to Hrtbskts? We haven't heard from her since the Mrs was heading that way.

For the love of Vape man; make her set her free!

Have y'all noticed that in every single post that Ab places, there is a reference to my m-i-l? Now, if this isn't a young man in love, I don't know what it is.

I don't know what has happened to hrtbskts. Seems like several of our people here have gone missing since the holidays. Hummm. Maybe I'd better write David and tell him to keep a close eye on the FSUSA Beauties. With you and LD running around single and unattached, this could be a serious matter.

Except for my m-i-l. She says she'll take either one or both of you! I didn't persue that particular conversation.

You're devious Mr TT. Posting now knowing it's 4 am here in Honolulu.:sneaky: But I'm just calling it a night. HA! You know more about hrtbskts' disappearance than you're letting on. Me and LD both resolved that we didn't want to become your stepdad/cousin/brother. and Nixsdaddy says he's doesn't either. So you'll just have to keep feeding her yourself.

I have to email you soon. These Hawaiian cuties are soo friendly. And those hula skirts seem to fly up with the slightest breeze. I'm the Protector in Chief for AB's FSUSA Cuties. They couldn't be in better hands.:hubba:
