It's cool that they've done that and good for them. I can understand David's point of view though and not be bothered by it. Who knows, they may decide to put in a large window into their mixing lab from the vaping lounge for all we know. But, asking what kind of equipment they are using seems to me like asking someone how much they paid for their car. For me that question never bothered me, but ask my wife and she gets upset. To her that question is like asking someone how much money they make, something that just isn't done how she was raised.

I've worked for plenty of businesses that never ever had an OSHA inspection. Yes, all business must comply with OSHA laws but "complying" and actually going through an inspection are two very different things. I've an associate that deals in commercial cooking equipment and his horror stories about certain restaurants in town can make a person shudder. But, I still see those businesses in operation, OSHA or not, mush less health inspections.

I won't put words in David's mouth, but I believe the point he was trying to make is that he's now gone through those inspections and wanted to let people know. I've been cruising around these forums a while and never seen anyone else post similar. Is it just because they didn't feel they needed to? Is it because they haven't done it? I don't know the answers to those questions. But the thing I do know is that I feel better about FSUSA knowing that their premesis has been inspected for safety. Proper handling is a necessary step in the process and having it certified as safe for his working environment is a good thing. There has been lots of sinister motives ascribed to FSUSA lately, much of which is based on pure conjecture.

I have been reading ecf for less than two months. I looked at many threads much older than that here just to gauge the tone of the forum before I decided to join here. My first impression was a vaping community that seemed pretty tight knit and very friendly. I've had great experiences with a number of vendors. Every vendor I've dealt with personalized their invoices, shipped very fast and I've never had an issue with any of them. I liked what I saw in this community that is ecf, until recently. FSUSA made an announcement in this sub-forum. He (David) didn't go into the general forum and post this. You call posting in his sub-forum to be "Marketing".

Facts will never be conjecture... OSHA is what it is... and it is NOT a marketing tool.

You want to see marketing about an OSHA inspection go here Pallet One - Press Release for an example. I haven't seen them make a press release and there's no mention of it on the FSUSA site or the FSUSA board.

There's now been 7 pages of discussion on the matter in just this thread and people with comments ranging from positive to extremely hostile. Combine this with the juice testing thread and it's been downright hostile in many posts between the two. In other vendors sub-forums have you seen people saying they were spreading lies to further their marketing? How many have you seen where people say they are spreading half truths? There's a thread in the PIF forum titled "Is this intimidation or a good thing? I can't decide........ " The OP for the thread takes the announcement of MistressNomad starting at FSUSA and the testing they are going to be doing then states "I don't know why, it just gave me chills ". I think people may be over reacting just a touch.

I'm awake now too.
Zen,
sorry but this area of ecf is our own little place in teh world.
Personally i am uncomfortable with your wording.
you are calling us unethical and basically calling us things we are not comfortable with.
Your facts may be printed fact, but your delivery is uncool.
If you are not happy with us as a company, please post elsewhere. our personal area on ecf is no place for diatribe

there was never anything ugly from our end. We posted that we are working hard to show people that we truly care about us and them and those who work for us. That was misconstrued by others and used as more bashing against us as people, and us as a company.
It's sad when pam and I work hard to better this field for the good of everyone and we get grief over it, that should have never been allowed to occur here.
Pam and I just wish to inform folks along the way as to what steps we are taking. Nothing more and nothing less. No insidious plot here....

Every time my wife and her mother hear about ab their hearts just go thumpity thump. They say he is real smart too and both of them want to be around him 24 hours a day so they can smother him with lovins and good cooking. He'll like the way they fix Spam with tabasco sauce on it.

I bet your wife's mom will be so happy when she can be with AB all the time after she gets to Chicago. :)

You know, I think people there in Chaycawgo live in those big buildings that go way up in the air. I don't think they live in regular houses. Anyhow, I'll bet ab's going to be the only one in his neighborhood that has his own milk cow. I don't know how the cow will act going up in one of the elevator things. We don't have them around here and the cows never been in one. Neither has my wife or her mother. Hope they don't get sick in it.

And knowing my mother-in-law, she'll be going up and down the streets to invite everybody to ab's place for a party. She's real friendly that way. Ab will be having a lot of good times.

I'm sure that ab will be more than happy to have parties. :) I'm sure the cow will get adjusted to riding in an elevator. But, I hope that ab doesn't get a code violation for having a cow. Chicago is pretty strict on that kind of stuff.
