I have a similar model of that and ive found that it you shake the mod a little and you here movement on the inside your battery is lose and not making any contact. Easy fix, you have a top and bottom adjustment pin. Simpley twist the top counter clock wise and make sure it makes contact w the battery. Shouldnt have to move the bottom much. Be careful if you do move the bottom it has a spring inside the button and it will fly out if if comes undone. I should know ive teplaced plenty lol.

I have a Panzer clone. It has a floating 510 pin. If you screw your atty all the way onto the mod it will push that pin in.

If your atty is flush with the top of the mod, remove it, take off the top part of the mod and push the pin up towards the atty. Reassemble it all without screwing the atty all the way onto the mod. Put he battery in so it's setup snug inside then tighten the atty a bit more, gently.

Let us know if that helps.

ETA: BTW, I would not use an UltraFire battery in any mod. Too risky. A VTC4 bought from a reputable supplier is much, much safer.

What concerns me here is not that the mod isn't working, it's that we have a new vaper with a mechanical mod and it seems they don't understand the basics of a mechanical mod. That can be a bit dangerous. I suggest you put the mod down for a bit, get a regulated mod and read up on Baditude's blogs. Please be safe. You're in good hands with @Ryedan.

UltraFire batts are one of the most counterfeited batteries on the market. Sometimes they are the wrong Li-ion chemistry (ICR instead of IMR) and those are the batteries that blow up when they are pushed too hard or have a short like can happen in a mechanical mod. I wouldn't even vape one in a regulated mod.

mortalkill, Cullin Kin makes a very good point above. I answered your question without thinking about more than the UltraFire issue, but there is more here. Mechanical mods don't have any fail safes in them like regulated mods have. You are the only safety feature in this setup and if you don't know what to look out for a few things could get you besides the UltraFire and it can be painful.

Baditude's blogs have a wealth of information in them that will give you a lot of knowledge about this stuff and will help you understand how to do this safely. Please read them.

Check all your connectors. May have some juice buildup, loose o ring, deteriated rubber, or quite possibly your atomizer isn't functioning therefore your mech looks like it isn't working. Pretty much if its a mech, it should be fine as long as the battery is making contact to pos and neg. Check your connector pins.
im not that great with the ecig stuff whats the loose o ring
