Hey guys. I know that "myvapestore" is a pretty reputable site. But can someone please explain this to me? SONY VTC4 18650 2000mAh Battery - Button Top - 30A

Out of all the reviews and anything I find on the net is " yea they work, and they they are great " But sony has never produced a button top on that battery.

So I Guess my question is " Is this battery safe/legit? " and if not, what battery is it?

The only Sony VTC4 I've seen in person have been the 2100mah 30a flat top. I haven't seen any Sony VTC4 button top let alone 2000mah. I see it on alibaba and the supplier is efest.

I wouldn't want to be the first one to experience it. I would wait until someone confirms and reviews the battery with facts.

Yup. It's a flat top that's modified. If you read the reviews one comment explains it. I still don't know how it could be a 2000mah when the VTC4 is supposedly 2100mah.

This battery is great. I actually had fitment issues initially. I suggest the flat top version of this battery. The button top is actually a flat top with a button on top held in place by basically a sticker then an extra layer of the protective shrink wrap. This extra layer of shrink wrap made the battery too wide for my nemesis. I took it off as well as the button. Works awesome now. I doubt everyone will have these issues but it's an easy fix if you do.

Well me being a noob, I purchased it, since the flats were out of stock. The battery fired 4 times and then died.. just took it off the charger, and it still won't fire. What a let down. Maybe I can get reimbursed, but I won't get my hopes up

Update: I took the extra plastic off, and the retrofitted button. And It is working great now.
