My Pegasus Copper Mod Lock issue

My first mod, which is the pegasus Copper mod, with a stainless Still are Aty. It is chucking the vapes! Issue: the lock either won't unlock as easy or will not detach itself from the base of the mod easily. Is this something copper mods can do or am I fighting it too tight?

Dunno about the lock but be careful not to strip anything. My first mech mod got stripped cause the locking ring would get stuck on the firing button and I kept unscrewing the firing button with the stuck lock down to free it up.

Put it on a vise making sure to protect the mod. Get a vise grip and unlock. Copper Pegasus came stuck for me as well.

Copper has the tendancy to 'grip' and get stuck in my experience yes.
Try not to tighten it too much. Generally not needed anyway. It also helps to lubricate the threading a bit etc.

Hey guys, I am new to the vape world and the forum. anyway I have purchased a copper overdose clone. I have been using it for 4 weeks now and have the same problem. What would you guys recommend for a good cleaning solution or lubricant to clean the copper threads and reduce the "stuck need to change my battery" problem? Thanks again!
