Electronic cigarette solutions contain purified or distilled water, food-grade propylene glycol (generally regarded as safe by the FDA) and/or vegetable glycerin, 0% - 3.6% pharmaceutical-grade nicotine (same as that approved by the FDA for use in gums and patches; not considered a cancer risk) and FDA-approved artificial and natural food flavorings. When used as intended, it is nearly scientifically IMPOSSIBLE for those ingredients to have the same health risks associated with cigarette smoke! tobacco harm reduction experts agree that smokers who switch to e-cigarette vapor eliminate or very nearly eliminate all of the health risks associated with exposure to cigarette smoke, simply by virtue of the lack of toxic and carcinogenic ingredients.
So, in their mind, all of these approved things make vapor that is harmful to everyone!
lol some people have no logic....
Either way, I think that the general public has an issue with the fact that there is something coming out of our mouths that looks like smoke...

I was in a conversation with a lady I'd just met at a party. She kept telling me how bad nicotine was and that ecigs are like smoking in the 50's before all the chemicals were added by the cigarette companies. I pulled out my PV and showed her that I did not have to ignite it and there was no smoke. I also told her about PG/VG and the fact that I was inhaling just a few ingredients. She just couldn't accept it. She went on to tell me her mother died of lung cancer. Some people will always have a stigma about anything that remotely looks like cigarette smoke being inhaled.

Didn't know PG/VG were in mucinex. That's another handy tip!

That is because the ANTZ have done a terrific job convincing the public that nicotine is the problem and not the inhaling of smoke.

My mother (who just started smoking again after 25-some years of abstinence) is convinced that smoke-free tobacco is just as bad as smoking and cannot be as low-risk as e-cigarettes. This in spite of having a daughter who is a tobacco harm reduction advocate and has explained to her that we have more science backing the relative safety of smoke-free tobacco than we do for e-cigarettes. She just can't shake the lies of the past - tobacco MUST be bad in whatever form.

It's like convincing people that swimming pools cause drowning rather than the water that is in them. Or blaming the car for drunk driving accidents, rather than the inebriated drivers behind the wheel. Pretty good trick, huh?

ive never actually had a conversation with anyone stupid enough tell me that regular cigarettes are in any way, shape or form anywhere near as healthy as vaping. i couldnt even imagine a person with that low a level of intelligence actually formulating words and placing them in a coherent sentence.
these people must be modern marvels in our midst. people that can actually speak and attempt to conduct an argument, yet lack any common sense and reasoning. 0_o

Ever since I started with that new e-cig thing that's coming out my cancer has gone away, my sperm count has shot up 4000%, I've lost 15 pounds, and I'm starting to get into cross country sports.

I also understand more of what I read and got a promotion but I turned it down because I'm going to go back to college and get my second degree.
