Problem I'm having is my batteries that come with the Janty are getting really really hot after only 3 to 6 puffs. I read after I bought the Janty that the batteries can get hot but this is making me wonder if they will get so hot it will make them stop working!

Again, I'd truly appreciate any ideas. If the 510s run cooler and are truly adaptable to the Janty Dura-C, then perhaps I can buy a couple of them in August or rather more likely September. BTW, I didn't know the batteries had a tendency to run hot until a few days after the kit arrived and I had already begun to use it and was cutting way back on my analogs.

Thanks a lot for any assistance...

All of the Dura/510/Yeti/Titan parts are interchangeable. I don't think the Janty Dura-C batteries are different than any other manual 510 batteries without LEDs, but Janty does have good warranty service, and I suspect that they would be willing to send you warranty replacements before you return the defective parts if your batteries do fail prematurely.

I haven't experienced my 510 batteries getting hot, other than the end of the battery where it connects to the atomizer getting very warm when the atomizer gets hot from heavy use. When that happens, I just let the whole thing cool for a few minutes before my next drag.

I'm sure there are other bargains out there, but the best price I've found on 510 batteries is from Widows Bead Works: Widows Bead Work - Batts & Atts Black manual batteries (with no LED) are $12.50 each with free shipping.

Be sure to get some spare atomizers when the budget allows, too. Widows' are $10 with free shipping, which is probably the best price if you're just buying one or two. If you're buying five or more atomizers then Janty: ATOMIZERS JANTY DURA TAWA ATOMIZER and Totally Wicked: TITAN-5 x Atomiser Multi Pack come in a bit less expensive even after shipping charges.
