My rig is giving a burning smell but no burnt taste

I'm running a Kanger Aerotank with a 2 ohm dual coil atomizer on an Infinity Pro and I'm getting a burning smell after every vape. I was getting poor amounts of vapor so I changed atty's and now I'm getting great vapor but still a burnt smell. The vapor is fine as far as taste and volume is concerned.

I checked my batteries and the voltage was good on them. I cleaned out the top cap and screw on the Infinity Pro using rubbing alchohol and q-tips and i'm getting good voltage on it on all the settings. What else could it be? I'm worried something may be frying in the Infinity but have no idea how to check that or check that something isn't wrong somewhere in the Aerotank. I cleaned it out completely as well and put in a fresh atty but no luck.

I have only tried the 2 atty's it came with since I don't have anymore right now.

Probably some left over gunk in the chimney of the PT. Try running a Q-Tip swab down it. May have to dump the juice out into something and clean it. Hot soapy water will do or alcohol.

Try a different topper to make sure its not your Infinity thats producing the smell .
