My SS wick trick

Hi,

This is how I prepare my genesis wick (in case it can help somebody)

First cut your piece of mesh and boil it for 3- 5 min.

1 divide the width of the mesh in 2 pieces ( aprox. 1/3 and 2/3)
2.take the bigger piece and roll it very tight (no need for a needle central hole).
3.take the smaller piece and blow torch it orange unrolled (Jack Frost method)
4.roll the oxidized piece over the first unoxidized piece
5.blow torch orange only once for 5- 10 sec the wick obtained on point 4 and let it cool in the air.
6.put some e-juice on it and burn it with a lighter (2-3 times)
All the process takes less than 10 min.

Now you can make the coil.

Since I make the wick like this never had a hot spot, or wicking problems.

Unfortunately, that varies from device to device. You may want to look for a thread on your specific device for that answer.

I've done this in many combinations #400 mesh outside and #300 inside , or vice verse for different types of viscosity and it works very well .As an explanation for this kind of preparing mesh , like as others probably tried , silica in the middle of mesh wick. Just try it ...

Just wanted to stop in and say thank you. I have been burning the crap out of my wicks and taste is not there after 2 tanks. doing this light oxi and the paper trick, and have no hot spots at all and no e1 on the provari. so thank You
