Well first off, I am brand new to this forum, so hey guys!
So as of right now i am 19 years old, and i started smoking analogs back when i was around 15 or 16 (can't remember). But my mom has been a smoker since she was 16 and i guess i kind of took over that bad habit of hers. I kept it a secret to her for a year or so till one day we were driving in the car and she was smoking an analog and i was CRAVING one so bad, so i anxiously asked her for a hit, and BAM, she didn't even care. I guess thats when i was like, "Cool, i can smoke whenever i want to since my mom doesn't care". After that moment i started smoking a little bit more since i could smoke around her and not have to "take a walk around the neighborhood to get some fresh air" (aka to smoke an analog). The feeling of smoking made me feel refreshed, and almost like it would get all the stress off of my mind for the couple of minutes while i puffed on it. When i was around 17 i realized that my couple of cigarettes a day slowly turned to half a pack a day. I knew that they were horrible for me, but since my mom smoked it was SO hard to break out of the habit. I got a couple of my friends into smoking as well, which is not entirely my fault but i still feel like i was peer pressuring them into taking a drag whenever i would go out back to have a smoke. When i was 18 i first heard about electronic cigarettes and that they were being sold at 7-11 and such party stores. I thought "hey, its worth a shot". So i went up to my local 7-11 and bought an njoy. It was so horrid, i threw it out almost instantly. I thought there was no hope for me to get out of this habit. This past new years was when i thought to myself, if i keep smoking like this, ill end up just like my mom (heart problems, high blood pressure, ect.) and that was not the position i wanted to be in at the age of 39. So i quit cold turkey, and it was hell. Within the first 24 hours i was experiencing headaches, anxiety, and the list goes on. Within a couple of days i went up to the party store and bought a pack of analogs as a "last resort", if i ever got a craving i would just hit one a couple times. Well, that ended up to be a horrible idea and i ended up smoking that pack in a couple days. So this past month i was hanging out with ony of my buddies and he had a VAMO (which was totally new to me) and i thought it was the coolest thing ever. He had some Vermillion River juice in it, and when i took that first drag, my craving for cigarettes was gone. I ordered my first mod this past week along with a bunch of juices. I went to the mail box every morning to check if it was in. This past friday came and I went to the mailbox and they came! I finally had my eVic in my hands, and a couple of protanks and a bunch of vermillion juices. I haven't touched an analog in over 2 weeks now, and it feels awesome. My best friend of 10 years (he lives across the street and has been smoking as long as i have) texted me and was like "dude, can i come over and hit that e-cig", so he came over and i gave him my old party store brand one along with a few juices and he was stoked. Feels great to be smoke-free! Cheers!
