I just got into sub ohm tanks in the last two months or so. I just bought the Kanger subtank mini. Right off the back, I noticed the benefit of organic cotton wicking. The delta II has a fiberglass wicking, which IS absorbant, however it holds back on the flavor. The Airflow of the delta is fantastic but after about a week or two on the same coil, it loses its flavor AND a good bit of the cloud production(however i still use the coils for approximately four weeks before the coil is what i consider to be burnt out)
The Subtank is another story altogether though. The organic cotton absorbs quickly, burns smooth, and I haven't gotten a dry hit yet. Now for the downside: the coils are very close to the drip tip, so you get A LOT of heat off of the coil even at 25 W. However, the .5 ohm coils are good to 50 W on my Eleaf Istick 50.
Both have an optional RBA however only the subtank mini actually comes with it(you have to be the RBA for the delta serperatly). I have found ways to rebuild the disposable coils for the Delta II, however it cuts down on the Airflow drastically. I'm sure that would be differently with the actual RBA deck(which i have ordered and will post a review when it comes in and i test it properly)
Now as for cloud prodction, the subtank takes the cake on this one. Forget the heat it produces, the cloud will make my 2'x4' coffee table disappear. The delta does well with the first week of the coil but it fades to half, which i think is due to the fiberglass/ceramic wicking.
Anybody have any further takes on these two tanks? feel free to chime in.
