I'll help you spend some money

I want one!!

That's what I've been using for about three months now. Works very well with plastic bottles up to about 30ml. Bigger or glass bottles work too but it's seems to be a strain on it. No biggie for me I very seldom go over 30ml batches. tried the ultrasonic cleaner but returned it and got this.

My name is Dan and I thank everyone for sharing. I've been clean of analogs for nearly 2 months now and can't wait to get my medal after I've been clean a year. I've been vaping for 3 months now and have 2 tackle boxes one filled with about 50 flavors, syringes, bottles, droppers, pipettes and other assorted mixing tools. the other is filled with batteries, coils, cartos, coil wicks and wire for rebuilding, clearos, clearo parts. atties and assorted tools for this craft. My freezer is stocked with 750 mls of 100ml NIC, PG and VG. My UC sits on a small work table next to my computer workstation stocked with about 15 test mixtures that I can't decide if I like or not (One day I like them, the next day there so so, the next day I hate them, then the next day I love them). I have a little dark cubby in my computer workstation that stores 3 or 4 bottles of my ADVs. My wife is getting tired of my constant talking about what I just came up with and what I'm going to try next. So not only did I find a great hobby but also found a way to get my wife to ignore me and leave me alone:)

Priceless!!

I have nobody around to impress so I'm bragging to my teenager, "look, this only cost $0.85 and it smells really good!!" She just rolls her eyes and calls me weird!

@WallyO

After watching the video and how it really shook that paint up, the machine seems mildly convincing, but more so after you affirm that it works well for eJuice, after 3 months. May I ask you to elaborate a bit more on why you find it really works well? Is the quality of the juice coming out of the shaker really very comparable to juices that are steeped for 'x' amount of time? How about tobacco flavors? Does it do a good job with that? Any additional info is most appreciated!

Geesh, I'm way behind compared to some of you guys/gals. I just got in my first DIY supplies this weekend: 420ml 60mg nic base, 1 gallon each of PG/VG, 8 flavors, 1 bottle of koolada and a 10ml graduated cylinder. After mixing my nic bases and PG/VG, I quickly found out that I need more than two blunt syringes, so those are in the cart as we speak. After looking at recipes and reading these DIY threads, I realized I need some specific flavors as additives. It also appears I need some beakers as well. I've spent $115 already and it looks like I'm gonna be spending another $50 at least.

What is this UC you guys are talking about? Ultrasonic cleaner? What's the purpose? How much is that going to set me back? What else do I need?

WHEN DOES THE SPENDING END??? WHEN DO I START SAVING MONEY??? IS IT TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW??? ARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

:blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink::blink:

Does it replace steeping? No. Shorten steeping? Really don't know. I am still chasing flavor combinations that will wow me enough for me to repeat making them to have a comparison. But I am convinced the flavors are mixed into the PG/VG much more thoroughly than hand shaking. I usually shake my new mixes for two to three minutes until they are nice and foamy. I do that twice a day and on the fourth day I start tasting. I can say that I would be hand shaking for a month to equal what I get using the shaker.
Is it a miracle? No. Was the ultrasonic cleaner? No. I have no documentable proof, but I believe the heating of juices does more damage than good. Again, just my opinion.
I very seldom use any fruits. Just can't get into vaping them. I do mostly bakery and tobacco and there is no substitute for resting time after mixing.
After reading this I see that I was really not much help convincing you one way or the other. Wish I could give you better answers but it IS very difficult to do any comparison if you are not making identical batches to compare to. I currently have a stock of 154 flavors and after a year of off and on of DIY I am still searching for my Holy Grail. There are only 4 vendor juices that I like enough to go back to. That's after trying hundreds over the past 19 months of vaping. Guess my taste buds are just very picky.
You really need to make a mix identical to one that's been sitting around that you like to be able to answer the shorter steep time question. And so far I have not been there. :facepalm:

As far as UC steeping I have made a comparison between juice that has been naturally steeped for over a month. Steeping an RY4 for 5 hours and letting it sit for 2 days was the same as the RY4 sitting for 5 - 6 weeks. As far as the heat from the UC degrading the flavor. the juice that was UC steeped that is now 5 weeks old has not lost anything. I can not comment on long term storage but I would think most make juice to last x amount of time so they would likely not have juice sitting around for longer then 2 months.

Just Flavors, as it only holds up to 1ml of liquid. and pg/vg/base wont ruin my syringes the way some of my flavors did haha.

but it can very accurately measure something stupid like .17 and the lines are far enough apart to pretty confidently measure something like .135 ..... i could use it to make 1ml test batches XD

i just remembered seeing someone mention the hole is to fine to be able to suck up VG
