Great idea, but I'm sure we can all agree there is plenty of room for improvement.

I'd like to see somebody make an ecig that does essentially the same as "dripping"...you have a chamber in the ecig that "sprays" or releases juice in to the atomizer, and then you inhale it out.

You just put your juice directly in the chamber. No need for filler material, and less mess. And hopefully, consistent vapor all day, no weak hits, and No awful burnt taste. I had the burnt taste problem when I first got my joye. It almost made me demand a refund.

And of course the battery life. I have the Joye 510, and of course the battery life sucks. I want one that works all day with no problems, then just refill it at night.

Just my thoughts.

I think if PV's remain legal and go mainstream, what you are looking for we will ultimately get. There will be some capillary feeder, or perhaps a piezoelectric micro-drop (think ink-jet printers) feeder that delivers the liquid directly to the heating coil. ANd or saety and delivery sake, don't be surprised if the liquid gets packaged in little silicone "ampules" that you feed into a cavity on your device.... perhaps with a needle that punctures them and does the feeding. Once again, think about ink-jet cartridges or single-cup coffee makers on a smaller scale.

But then again.. I could be completely wrong!

P.S. If you think about it, what we have right now is really in its infancy, and it is kinda archaic and antiquated.

Think of one of those 'old' perfume bottles the ladies use to use in the old black and white movies. They had that little atomizer on the end, a small bottle underneath, and a squeeze 'pouch' stick out the back side.

I remember seeing some as a child. The bottles would have to be reduced in size and probably made of something besides glass...but I think the concept would work.

Oop's - It was meant to go to the "Fang" thread. Since you gave some good links, I'm just deleting the post.

Figured that might be the case but then I thought 'Jim might know of another one I haven't seen'

If there is another mod that might interest me it would be one like those. I was hoping the Janty cameo's 'prism shape' was a bottle on top of a Janty Stick. ;-)

Sounds like you've read my posts as we have the same thoughts :)

Obvious things to do, I'd say. One day ...

One of these days, someone will hook up a quad atty set-up with a 1000ml reservoir and stick it on a hospital respirator. That may satisfy 50% of the people.

I'd like to see a foot pedal mod, similar to a bellows, so you could supercharge the vape chamber (the size of a digital camera perhaps), and then some sort of rheostat arrangement so you can dial up the voltage you think will give a nice fog, and also a modified hyperbaric contraption to prevent the vapor from dissipating.

I don't know if any of this is practical. Maybe not. (I don't even know what half those words mean!)

I'll think about it some more.

Until then, I think my 510 battery is fully charged. Yay, 5 more minutes of vaping!

That's exactly how I thought e-cigs worked when I saw videos of them. Before I got one I just assumed a cartridge was an ampule that was punctured upon insertion into the atomizer. When I saw that it was just some aquarium filter foam I thought it looked very low tech, indeed.
