Seems to me that the problem with a nano coil is that the wick inside it is too small to contain enough liquid, but who said the coil has to be on the inside?
What if i make a nano coil place a few wicks around it then wrap it again.
Then there are two posibilities, connecting only the inner coil or making it a dual coil.

I thought the point of a "nano" coil was that it was too small for a wick to go through it, so you wrap the wick around the outside of the coil so to speak, keeping the center of the coil hollow for air to pass through. This is unlike a standard or a micro coil where the wick IS threaded through the coil. Haven't tried one yet but that was my take on it.

I wrap my coils on a small paperclip, which is smaller than 1.5mm. No problems putting cotton through, and no problems wicking....

I personally am not hardcore into micro and nano coils, i actually prefer a well built old fashioned coil, but I do dabble with the Micro and Nanos. On my Kayfun Lite+, the micro coil is the way to go.

Nanos have been basically just for screwin around.

I wrap them on a syringe, 20 guage IIRC, and I just put a nice dense bed of cotton underneath the coil. Then once its wet, I can shape it a little and get some of the cotton touching the sides of the coil. But, thats not 100% needed. as long as the bed stays wet its fine. What is key, is once you get the bed of cotton situated under the coil, puish the coil down into the bed. Just enough so the cotton bed is snug, but could be pulled out easy enough.

Micro/Nanos are fun, and they're great for changing wicks very quickly, and the Kayfun is almost like its built FOR micro coils. But, I still think a well put together "regular" coil, provides the best vape. Standard vaping motto of, YMMV, IMO, and FOR ME it works.. all apply.
