Many threads out their on atlantis vs subtank but I didn't see any in the new forum.
Comparing both with .5 factory heads to make it an even comparison. (this is my opinion and totally not set in stone.)

Vapor: Atlantis makes better vapor but it's a power hungry beast. Subtank takes less wattage to make great vapor and you have the rta section to experiment with vapor production.

Taste: I prefer the subtank taste but the atlantis heat/vapor production so this goes to the subtank but it's sooo marginal.

Leak: Easy fix for subtank if leaking. Check oring to make sure curved side up. (Thank drunken batman for this tip)

So I had a hard time picking one but I prefer the atlantis. because of it's rich vapor production and awesome airflow.
So what's your thoughts on these two tanks?

It's windy, USA
Leak: For some reason my subtank leaks ever so slightly while the atlantis has those awesome gasket/threads to make it very leak resistant.

That's a bummer, I'd have issues dealing with a leaky tank in 2015. Have you checked your bottom red o-ring is facing curved-side up? Those with leaks seem to be a small minority, but there are enough posts about this on the full-size subtank that excluding I'm wondering if the design is too unforgiving of variances in manufacturing and how users put them together/use them.

Checked o ring and it's on right but I had to reseat it and now it doesn't leak. Thanks for the help!!

There is an o ring set for sale cheap that is labeled as "modified" from Kangertech.

Cool. Where would I find that?

BTW, Blitzz...mine seeped out the bottom of the glass when I first got it as well. I was ......, then flipped that gasket around and it hasn't leaked since... like DrunkenBatman said. Weird undocumented design. I am a fan of the tank but it's very quirky like that, maybe not even suitable for new vapers because of the quirks.

Atlantis coil has much bigger room for enhancement than the Subtank.
I use 5 coils of AWG28 nichrome c, side by side (parallel), 4 wraps each for atlantis.
In total, 20 wraps and 0.27 ohm. And, it still has some room.

I'm not sure what you mean sorry. That a rebuilt bvc head is better then a rta subtank build?
