I am not posting this to make people feel bad that they could not or did not attend, but rather to share with you my thoughts on the vaping community with those who have not yet been able to experience it. Many of us know of and admire Nick Green, Phil Brusardo, Dimitri (The vaping Greek), JC West, and Zen. I had the privilege of meeting all of them, and more importantly, they all took the time to talk to me. They get approached by many fans, and still it doesn't bother them to take the time to make others feel welcome and appreciated as a fan. I, for the first time, felt a part of the vaping community.

During the 5 months I have been vaping, I get discouraged. I have bad vape days, and think to myself that it would just be easier to buy apack of smokes. Then I come to this forum and realize everyone here is just like me, and it doesn't seem so bad. Being able to meet my fellow vapers has made me feel a part of it all.:)

I had a great time there as well...Phil walked by the table when I had my meerschaum pipe sitting on the table while I was puffing the hookah hose, he said I had all the best toys...lol.

Biggest thing that struck me was people helping people there. So many people with their first genesis atty and everyone was willing to help them set them up. One major highlight for me was meeting Trent Choi and getting in on his new DNA 20 mod...learned a good bit talking with him for a couple hours Saturday morning.

Agreed...it was an awesome event. Managed to snag Phil and Dimitri late Saturday and they both looked exhausted but they still took the time to chat...as well as all the other great people I had a chance to meet. So looking forward to VapeStock in June.

My only complaint is that it was almost impossible to browse the vendors...there were just too many people...but I don't think they anticipated that kind of turnout.

It was insane. I agree lots of people. Would be nice to see it across the street next year at the Convention Center, if that is feasible.

I wish the vendors were allowed to stay open past nine, they said on the website that it was open until 2am. When I got there at 10:30 none of the vendors were there. They could have posted on the website that vendors were done at nine pm. I guess next time ill have to make sure to schedule time off work to be able see everything

Amazing event, lots of fun, and I even managed to win something for the GF during the free raffle. I remember getting there early and figured waiting for the crowd to die down a little before I went walking around (using a cane). When a couple hours would pass with it just seeming to get even more crowded, I just finally braved the crowds and jostled for position at various vendors with everyone else. Much more people than anticipated (1600+).

I already know that next year it won't be held at the same hotel (some issues with the hotel), but the convention center nearby is way too expensive. I know where they're looking at for a place, but won't say anything as of yet because it's obviously way to early for anything to be set in stone.

lol...my vaping buddy said the same thing.

My other complaint (I just realized) is that my favorite comfy sweatshirt still smells like the amalgamation of all the different juices everyone was vaping.

Oh wait...that's not a complaint.

I arrived on Friday around 2 and it was already packed. I had to wait a few minutes at each booth I visited but it wasn't bad considering how many people were in that room. Vendors were really friendly and deals were everywhere. I ended up getting a iTaste MVP (love it btw), a few pro tanks, and a twist to add to my collection. I hope next year they can get a larger space. I'd not mind a registration fee to offset that cost...it would give more space to browse and buy.

It was also kinda funny rounding the corner into the room and seeing a dense fog of vapor hanging...walking in and it smelled like fruits, nuts, sweet, tobaccoey (not cigarette smell), spices. Was pretty cool event.
