I know it's not easy for other to do, but I'm just hoping this can help some of you... The easiest way is, just buy HeliX Hot Spring and replace it. But for me, too far away to get the spring... (Hot spring cost only $2.29, but postage... $18.00!!)

Before this, the resistance I found was 0.3 - 0.5 ohm. And the device started getting warm after fired 5 to 8 times, battery warm, cap spring very HOT(almost jump up when touching it!)!!!
Now, :D 0 ohm resistance. Vape and fired over a minute, the device still cool and steady. 3 minutes or more, upper part of body started getting little warm, but lower part still cool and steady. Open battery cap and took out battery, not even feel warm. Battery life also extended!

You say the top of the unit still gets warm,im gonna wait it out, if i were you id send it back, you are taking chances on injury.

It starts getting little warm at upper part where the PCB board is, every PV PCB board will get warm after long(more the 3 minutes) use...
Before doing this I did told the seller the issue and tried send it back, he replied no need for return cause other also have same problem and already asked the manufacturer. (He has just stopped selling Vamo few days ago...) He said probably they will send replacement like new cap or new copper spring...
I also asked him(the seller) what if I try fixing the cap myself and will it voided the warranty, he replied no unless I ruin the body part...

Any instructions how you did this?

 sorry, no. Just find a thick(1mm maybe) copper wire from house electrical cable... cut about 3" long... solder one end on the cap... or you can just wrap the wire TIGHT at the center "pole" of the cap... then another end wrap around the top ring of the spring... as the pictures shown...
Hope this help.

Heavyrocker. It's a legitimate fix for the spring issue. I am having none of those issues with mine as checked with fkuke & IR meter.
