My Vamo just died! :`(

I am so sad right now, my Vamo just died and I haven't even had it a month! I was just vaping it 10 min ago and it wouldn't fire so I put a new battery in it and it won't even turn on. Has this happened to anyone else? I purchased it from smoktek.com and it was my first time ordering from them. I emailed them so I hope they will help me.

Sorry to hear this, I haven't heard of this anywhere else. Although if it is a version 1 it could have shorted out due to the pin touching the side wall. There is a thread on here about that problem and it being dangerous it was fixed in V2 though. sorry I hope you get it replaced though. Good luck sorry about your VAMO you may want to move this to the VAMO sub forum though you might get more help faster.

Do you see any burn marks or any sort of issues looking down the battery tube? Or on the mod near the buttons or display?
Are you sure you clicked it enough times to turn it on? I know...sounds dumb... but ruling out the obvious.
Any activity at all? Can you "hear" an atty working and maybe the display burned out?
Do you hear any type of rattling at all? Other than the normal button and battery rattle.

OK so I didn't see any burning and I blew in the battery tube and pushed my finger around in there and now its working...Now I'm scared to use it! I don't know what happened...

Sounds like a dirty contact ... it happens.

You would almost certainly notice your battery getting hot before it would explode. I think your safe.

Sounds like either a dirty contact or the battery was a little loose and lost connection. No, shouldn't blow up in your face - there was no over heating.

i know some of the earlier versions had a problem with the bottom spring being too short or not strong enough.

Pull the spring so it's slightly longer - that was probably your issue in the first place.
