I've been vapig for almost 3 month now and heard all the horror stories about vapor tongue with out it affecting me. I vape different juices and as of the last month and a half switched to more "premium" juices with funky names and complex flavors instead of simple one fruit flavor juices. They all taste nice, pleasant, overall very satisfying till last night that is. After dinner I started vaping on my 57 chevy by zues, a 50 ml bottle that's almost empty, and the flavor was out of this world! I never tasted those fruity hints of flavor in that juice, pretty much matching the description on their website, it tasted amazing. I haven't vaped today yet but I'm afraid it's going to be all gone. I have no idea what's happening since my sense of smell and taste came back 2 month ago, did I have vapers tongue all this time? I feel a little silly paying money for more expensive juices when this whole time I couldn't taste the true flavor :(

I've notice, for example, if I'm drinking black coffee the bitterness of the coffee brings out the sweet in really sweet vapes.
I usually have some sort of drink, usually ice water, while I chain vape.
For me certain foods or drinks especially can really help bring out the flavors of whatever I'm vaping.
Pairing up can be fun or frustrating, depending on how you look at it.
Perhaps the mint from the gum is making you less sensitive to the flavors you're vaping.
