I joined ECF a couple years ago but have mostly lurked here and there the last couple years. So I figured the new member forum would be best suited to re-introduce me. :)

I was on analogs for about 10 years. My first year or 2 vaping was back and forth electronic and analog. I didnt wanna quit analogs yet fully.

So here's a quick rundown of my vaping journey and where Im at now.
Started with the ecigs that looked like real cigs. Cheap as heck, vapor was weak, but I was intrigued. Then I found these forums a couple years ago and quickly decided to try the ego setup. My girlfriend and I got some kits and quickly went LR attys and direct dripping. We loved it. From there we went to ego tanks as soon as they came out. Then cartos, then carto tanks. We then replaced out EGO batteries with KGO (I highly suggest these for those of you that like the ego style batteries). I then got a VV KGO (pretty cool battery). We experimented with the Vivi Novas and were totally unimpressed. I'm still confused by the hype on these. Not that some dont genuinely like them, we just got sick of messing with them to get them to compare to a cart/tank setup. We now used 1.25 3 hole Smok Tech cartos on Big Daddy tanks.

Yesterday I ordered my first mod. Although a Saber is dead in my sights, I've always been curious about the mechanical mods. So I ordered a Smok Telescope mod, some batteries (18650s and 18350s), and the Smok Tech UDCT tank. Excited to get into the Mod world. BTW, these Telesope Mods are at Hoosierecig for $35. Best price Ive seen on em. Im surprised I dont see them mentioned more here. Prices are great, shipping is great, and the service is the best Ive found. He's always taken great care of me.

So thats my journey. My girlfriend I still stoked with her pink KGO 1100 mAh and Big Daddy tank and thinks Im a tard for wanting a mod, hahaha. Ill show her....

Thanks to those who have provided help, insight, reviews, etc. Ill post some pics when I get my new setup rollin.

Glad you decided to re-introduce yourself :) Its always fun to read about other people's vaping journey :)

Do not mean to hijack this thread.

Noticed you have trippy tips.
I simply MUST have some of those. I've seen some out there that are just georgeous!
WHY do we need so many things!

Ya in the past I was all about low maintenance. I needed it to be easier than a real cig. Now I want the best vaping experience I can have. The rebuildable atties are still a bit beyond the maintenance I want to spend on these. But I'm looking forward to getting my mod, and my girl and I are already experimenting with ideas for the Saber touches. That'll be my next mod. I like the size of the midi but seems to make sense to me to get vari volt if your gonna invest that kinda cash.
I like the cart-tank system. My only gripe with that is cartos getting clogged after a few days of use, and also not being able to use some of the darker flavors. They seem to just destroy most cartos Ive tried.

Thanks you all for taking the time to read and post to say hi!

Also a new vaper here , i got my 510 startket kit in the mail friday and the charger broke on saturday:(, atleast i learned my lesson i guess . Im buying a Ego twist this week but im kind of lost as to what i need to complete my set. And all this LR and HR and 1.5 ohms is all confusing to me ,i just want to vape!!! lol

And also welcome back:toast:

Thanks! The ego is a great intro PV. I'd suggest looking at the KGOs too. They pack a bit more punch. On that type of battery I always use 1.25 oHm cartos with a tank. I get the 3 hole cartos from hoosierecig.
Basically the LR (1.25 is the lowest I've found) burns hotter. More vapor, flavor, throat hit etc. Some people are afraid to go that low due to fear of running too hot. But I've never been "too hot" on a 1.25 using a 3.7v ego battery. Even on my variable voltage KGO I can sometimes run as hard as 4.2v before it gets too warm for the liquid (depending on the liquid). I've tried just about every approach to maximize the experience of a 3.7 ego style battery, so if i can help just let me know!
