Durability is the number one reason I like my Provari. I think it's too big and heavy for my hands, and the only reason I like VV is to get a cooler vape rather than a hotter one. The thing is, I'm clumsy and I drop stuff. I drop my PVs all the time and up to this point the only one still standing since I started vaping back in 2012 is the ProVari. I haven't tried enough mods to claim that the ProVari is the most durable, but it's been good to me so far.

I just got my first Provari 3 hrs ago and I just can't put it down. Lucky me me that I get Provari as my first vv mod and skip all other Chinese mod. One thing I want to know now I how it's gonna perform when battery is low. :)

does a provari tell you when the batteries are low?

Yes, the light on the button will blink slowly for a while. Once it gets to about 3.2, it will flash more quickly and no longer fire. Mine's been blinking for about 15 minutes and I'm still vaping with the exact same vape experience I had when I put the fresh battery in, something I really appreciate.

Oh another question as well. does the unit have a Ohm meter as well? like when you first turn it on or something to see what OHM your coils are?

Not when you first turn it on, but there is a menu option for it. I do all of our builds on the Provaris so I can check. :)

I needed a device that I can absolutely rely on. I'm never going back to cigars, so I need a device I can absolutely rely on, every day, all day. The Provari does that for me. The Provari has probably the best track record in the device market for reliability, warranty repair, and out of warranty repair. It is also one of the most accurate devices on the market for consistent vape quality. That all sold me and I purchased one. Glad I did. I have no worries it is going to work throughout the day.

Purchased my provari 1 year ago. Full size, black, 18650 battery cap, green lights.

In that time, the girlfriend has had 3-4 eGo's, 2 eGo twists, a Smok Zmax, a Sigeli Zmax, a SVD, a Vamo, a Smok Magnito, and a Kamry K100. All broke, from the Mag switch falling apart to broken connectors, all of them. I've since fixed the K100 and Magnito in house, but you get the idea.

Provari... We'll it just works. I'm active military, so it's beat hard and shows it's use (badly), but still works like a charm. Been using Protanks, a Phiniac carto tank, a Z-Atty Pro, and vivi tanks with great success. Favorite, and current, setup is a Phiniac tank with ikenvape cartos. Great flavor and easy to use in a durable package. I like it so much I'll probably sell my ZAP soon.

Anyways, just wanted share my third year in vaping. If you're thinking of getting a provari, all I can say is do it.

Provari? No thanks. Overpriced, BIG and little obsolete avp at the moment... You also forgot to say, that she broke all the devices, probably when dropping them on the floor. Its her fault not the manufacturers....

Been saving for a provari. But in the last few weeks i've come across the semovar SvoeMesto SM V3 Semovar BASE Kit - Semi-Polished - Cloud 9 Vaping

And this
NexGen Vapor | Futura Personal Vaporizer
This thing weighs 900 grammes, (2 lbs) and is fitted with a dna30.

So what do i do ?, because that Futura is a monster !. And i like it !.:)

Futura would be my choice if purchasing a regulated mod today, can use it in all 3 18000 battery sizes, goes up to 30 watts and accepts down to a .5 ohm build. Also comes with a 1 year warranty and is made in the USA. It is so Provari like that the custom end caps made for the Provari will fit the futura.

does a provari tell you when the batteries are low?

Yep the switch will start a slow flash once the battery gets low, then a faster flash one the battery cannot fire at the volts set for the ohms of your atomizer. One can disable the switch light so that it doesn't light when pressed and won't flash when it gets low, but it will still flash when there is not enough power to fire. This will get you a bit more vape time per battery.

The level at which the battery stops working depends on how hard you are driving it. If you have set so that you are delivering max watts for the given ohms of you atomizer, it will stop working around 3.75 volts, that's volts measured without a load on.

Oh another question as well. does the unit have a Ohm meter as well? like when you first turn it on or something to see what OHM your coils are?

Yeah, most all regulated mods come with an ohm meter, but it is not as accurate as a atomizer ohm meter because it only shows to the tenths digit, so it's accuracy can be off by at least .05 ohms. A measured 1.5 ohm build can be anywhere between 1.45-1.55 ohms, but is adequate for standard ohm builds.

I just got my first Provari 3 hrs ago and I just can't put it down. Lucky me me that I get Provari as my first vv mod and skip all other Chinese mod. One thing I want to know now I how it's gonna perform when battery is low. :)

After an ego, and discovering the ECF and what was possible in the vape world, I also chose the Provari. Think it's a great starter kit, and has stood me well. Solid device though a bit under powered for me now.

I have had my Provari Mini since right after Christmas. I am very happy with it and use it constantly. I do not miss the vw at all and find I do not need to do any more adjusting of the vv than I did with the vw. If it breaks I know it can be sent to Provape for an inexpensive repair. I am happy. My Mvp2 and Spinners are now backups.

The menu system of the Provari sounded crazy when I ordered it, but after a day of use, it became natural. Three days in, and I'm about to become a Provari evangelist.

Out of the box, the unit worked well with my 510-threaded tanks, but I had a problem with the 510-eGo adapter that I'd also ordered (constant and consistent short circuit errors). I opened a support ticket, and Kim from ProVape has been helping me all weekend trying to identify what the problem was, and how to fix it. Ultimately, the repair took exactly two seconds, but she offered me a store credit (which I declined) because I shouldn't have had to do a repair in the first place.

13 clicks of the button gives the atomizer resistance.
