The Joye mega cylinder atty is probably what you are referring to as the "wide" atty. It holds about 2.5ml of juice and is best used with a polyfill filler (the same stuff that comes in it). If you get low vapor, it's probably because the atty was stuffed too tight from the factory. I've found that the mega cylinder works best with a filler that just fits the barrel and slides in and out easily with little pressure from your tweezers.
The mega atties come in cylinder, cone, and the standard 510 barrel width. I like the cylinder myself.
As for the Ego-T tank, 50/50 to 70/30 pg/vg works best. You can even get by with 100% vg if it's a clear juice rather than a dark and sugary juice. Light hits are best rather than drawing heavily. A vacuum is created around the coil end when you draw. This vacuum assists in feeding juice to the wicking. When the tank is full, there's a small air bubble inside the atty. When it is almost empty, the air bubble is larger and will allow the vacuum from drawing to expand the bubble more and allow juice to feed at a higher rate. At the end of the tank, you can flood the atty by drawing too hard. It's common to have flooding occur when the tank is almost empty, especially if you draw hard on the mouthpiece.
Draw slowly and the tank will be less likely to flood.
