ok been vaping since May, using a 901 auto/manual combo and have loved it except battery life and the vapor production seems to drop drastically if I don’t clean the atomizer regularly

so i wanted to try a different model and i went with the 510 ego

love the vapor production but the flavor is gone :(

I have tried at least 12 different flavors with different nic/vg/pg ratios with 2 different atomizers

and no change even with the ego battery the flavor seems to be just gone

so question is has anyone had problem

i want more vapor production and better battery life but I don’t want to sacrifice flavor

also has anyone put a 901 atomizer on the ego before??

Sounds like an atty problem. I only have used 510s with my eGo (Tornado) but i get amazing flavor and vapor. I DIY 9mg juices so not much TH but i'm sure with some medium and high mg juices the TH will be there too. I have 7 attys. 2 from my starter kit and 5 from my multi-pack. 2 are in rotation hitting like champs and 2 don't perform well. Blow them out, clean them, mess with them, and if all else fails send them back. There is no way you eGo in of itself should be disappointing in anyway. Attys are just hit or miss.

I have both 901 and 510 atties and tbh dont notice a lot of difference EXCEPT that the 901 seems to give better flavor with the softer fruity juices and the 510 is a clear winner with the coffee/tobacco/heavier flavors. The 901 gets slightly less hot than the 510 and is therefore less likely to 'overcook' the subtle flavors - this is my unscientific conclusion lol based soley on my own experiences.
