Start with big chunk of aluminum, don't stop until you have a small chunk of aluminum. Takes CR2's, 14500, and when I make my spacer, an 18650.
Thanks go out to nicowolf, warp, and any other crazy bastage that dreams the dream.

I absolutely LOVE it.

It is not only an amazing PV design, but also artwork.
Doubles as a sculpture for the living room

I hate you because of your tools and your unbelievable skill. (joke)

Double WOW.

Is the gold plug a choice or just what you were able to find?
I kind of like how it looks actually.

Anyhow, this is my favorite place to get RCA parts:

Parts-Express.com:RCA Plug Metal | Rca connector solder connector rca audio connector rca plug plug

Thank you for posting your pics td, if there was a modders hall of fame, this one should be there.

Thanks everyone, only chance I'd be selling these would be to pay for the divorce lawyer if my wife ever got tired of me dinkin around with this stuff.
Warp, don't hate the playa, hate the game, only tools I used was a drill press, some sanding wheels and a grinder, oh yeah, and some bits and a chop saw, and there was that time on the table saw, and I might have used the belt sander a bit, but other than that...

the body's held together by a 10-32 tapped hole in the body with a ss cap head screw from the bottom.
Hand carved is one way to put it, I started out trying to make something else but the spirit of the aluminum guided me to this...bwaaahaaaahaaaa!
I try and always wear gloves when I'm working with metals so the hands weren't an issue.
thanks again everyone-tom
