I started off on the ecigs with the cheap Mistic brands from Wally World. I didn't like it at all and the taste was not too good. I ended up on this site and I did some research which led me to the SI products page. I looked around on Youtube and read the reviews here, talked with members on ECF and decided to get the Volt Pro Kit.

Well my kit came in this week and I had also received the Menthol Burst cartridges. The construction of the e cig is solid, I like the rubber around it which makes it easy to hold and it resembles an Analog. I got the 65mm battery and it takes some time to charge but not too long. I also like that the PCC can charge it up any time.

As for the taste, the cartridges had a very decent smooth menthol taste. Little did I know that they are 100% PG which a few days later up until now I have ended up with a sore throat from hell. I drink lots of water and use a lot of cough drops. I will need to order just blanks and different juice to get to the bottom of why my throat has not gotten used to it 2 weeks later.

The nicotine hit is way better than Mistic cigs I had, I can actually feel if after 2 hits. I also got 18mg of nic since I smoked Marlboro Menthol for 2 years and and Marlboro Lights for 3, but I may need to lower the nic content too.

The kit itself (pro) comes with a tiny usb adapter, a usb cord, the PCC, a lithiom ion battery that charges the PCC, 2 e cig batteries with your choice of LED's, and a pack of your choice of Cartomizers. I was more than happy with the order and the customer service that answered my questions promptly. They also have very fast shipping. I received my item on day 2 after my order! I also went back on and ordered the smooth sampler, which maybe I should have not done since I found out its 100% PG liquid, but I will Vape that as well. I think I ordered that on Wednesday and last time I checked, it should be in my mailbox.

More than happy with this company! Very nice staff here on their forum page and if I could suggest that maybe in the future, offer the user the choice of VG/PG content in the liquid or Carts. Just a suggestion, because I really like their cart flavors and If that was available I would probably not go anywhere else. I like the convenience of just shopping at one place. Also their prices are solid, there are many coupons out and you can't beat the Volt e cig for the money you pay. The quality of the smoke for being a PG liquid is very decent and the product over all delivers!

I would recommend the Volt to anyone starting out and not sure with all the plethora of E-Cigs out there. I have my one friend who may return his Blu cigs for a Volt too so i try to let everyone know how happy I am with this product. I tried the Blu disposable from Walgreens and I didn't like it that much, its just not the same.

I can also say that the Volt is the best cigarette look a like I have found, and I have tried about 6 of them now. The cartomizers they sell are good too, and seem to last a good length of time. I have not tried any of their juices or prefilled cartos, so I can't comment on that. I can however second the crazy sore throat thing. I dealt with this for the first 8 weeks of vaping. Finally I started regularly sucking on a Halls cough drop and I had no more problems. I have since stopped using the cough drops and have only occasional soreness on heavy vaping days.

Whenever I want a cig look a like or a spare in my bag it is always the Volt. I got the larger batteries and they are not terrible. That combined with the PCC makes it a really good backup for me. My regular all day pv is a Lavatube, but the Volt still has a place in my life.

sze5003, I had questioned the PG/VG content of the SI juices and they replied it was an 80/20 mix, which I found posted on another thread after I posted my question. Like mindshatter, my throat was a bit dry and I found relief drinking extra water throughout the day and using hard candies.

I found the pre-filled cartos of 555 @24mg, Dersert Joe & Mint, both @18mg, to have a satisfying TH and the flavors are pretty decent. I find the pre-filled Cappuccino @18mg pleasant and a little sweet which isn't a bad thing but little Cappuccino flavor, though I haven't tried other brands for comparison.

I picked up the Menthol Burst and New Grape in the 12mg strength, both are enjoyable with a fair TH. The New Grape is reminiscent of the powdered straw candy or Grape bubblegum and is enjoyable. The Menthol Burst is almost like a menthol analog, very cooling and lots of vapor on the exhale. On the first fill of the blank carto I experienced a bit of pine aftertaste which eventually disappeared and settled down to a more traditional Menthol taste. I'm waiting for three more liquids to arrive; RY4 & 555, with a 12mg nicotine content and a Watermelon @6mg.

I received my Standard Kit two weeks ago today, with one extra battery that I've loaned out three times, with one person asking me to order her a standard kit. Like sze5003, I read the reviews of the Volt on this site, and with the few negative feedback's I found, the complainants' problems were resolved within 24 hours. After 38 years I've been Analog Free since receiving my Volt which satisfies my nicotine craving and the need to "smoke" by Vaping.

I like the menthol burst a lot. I think the 18mg was too much nicotine for me. I've been using my own liquids since i broke out in a weird rash on my arms. Their blank cartos are great too. I clean them each time and refill them. My PCC was broken but I have mailed it back and because they were out of the slider version, I have been upgraded to a mega pcc v2, I believe. I have not received it yet but I'm telling you their customer service is excellent. Its kind of like Apple if you bought the extended warranty haha, they get you on your way without queastions.

I didn't like the freedom or cowboy that much but ryy4 was pretty good! I cleaned out the other sampler flavors and used my liquids. I just hope I can figure out the rash issue. I've tried just about every type of PG/VG mix in percentages from other sites and can't tell because rash is not getting worse its just still there. But I am not giving up vaping, I would try to avoid it for a week but I can't and going back to analogs is dreadful yuckk.

But I'm glad I found the volt, unlike other e cigs, it is very durable and battery life is great for my needs. I was surprised how well the cartos worked with 100% VG liquid too!

I started with the Volt kit as well. I got one of the smaller batteries in automatic, and one of the bigger batteries in manual.

I recommend the bigger, and I recommend the manual. The bigger is just going to last longer, and really, it's not all that big. It's still pretty darn compact.

The reason I like manual? Because if you are addicted to smoking, you are addicted to the little habits like flicking a lighter and ashing. The little button is fun. That's honestly why I like it! So far I haven't found another difference in the manual and the auto.

I absolutely love the Volt cappuccino cartridges. I like 6 mg.

If you think you will be using the Volt a LOT, then you will want to be stocked up on cartridges and batteries and chargers etc. I don't think you would want to get by with one battery and say, one charger to use only at home. I also have the VTube mini, and use that at home. But so far, I love to throw the Volt in my purse and haven't really had a problem keeping one of them charged up.

I've never tried the manual batteries but the automatic new ones now are really well sealed. One of mine I used a lot so it needs to be tossed. But with SI coming out with the new ce3's and the x2's available, I go myself a 650ma battery which should last even longer. Cartridges get old after a while if you like to refill them a lot. I like the clearomizers for this reason too.

Some people refill their cartridges without cleaning but I always boiled/cleaned mine which maybe was not a good idea because they were not so fresh as maybe just filling again over the top. I believe the carts are 501 size?
