Well if your anything like me, and enjoy drinking a pepsi, eating the best chocolate bar of all time (cough couch big turk cough cough) and enjoying a episode of myth busters just to watch them blow :censored: up...then sit back and enjoy this video i found from White Clouds on....well....e-cigarette's by white cloud....the humor in the video is what is getting me...

~Warning: Just like the video says: DO NOT attempt anything you see here at home. These things were done by people who make them and so know how to do this and not....well you know....die in the process~
Also bare in mind this is for 510's and 808's...this DOES NOT mean that a aw imr's will survive this, and again DO NOT TRY TO FIND OUT

one thing missing from the test... which is where most LiPo failures occur. compromised cells being charged.

from my personal experience from R.C. racing. most LiPo's fail on the charger, and this usually happens, when a negligent hobbyist tries to charge a battery pack that has been damaged in some way (puncture, dent, or a "puffed" cell).

If someone with the proper safety equipment can duplicate my mentioned scenario. it would be a TRUE test of the "safe" circuitry of these batteries AND their chargers.

Just my thoughts...

true as....but this was done from a KR808D-1 point of view, and honestly i thought it was great as with so many new vapers coming into the fold (who are more then likely starting out with the 808's) and with all the media press going on about much larger mod's and the batteries they take........well going nuclear and putting you in low earth orbit.....a company had to put out a video to calm those fears....

I imagine once they are ready to get into LiPo, LiOn, safe chemistry, cpb safe etc batteries they would have done the research there.......

But i still am referring to cig style batteries...

imagine you drive over, drop or step on your 510/808 battery... can the compromise cell within that metal tube still be charged ?

at the end of a video, they showed a guy vaping on a "crushed" 808 (i have no audio at the moment so i assumed).Still a stupid idea, but what came to my mind was, put it on a charger and see what happens.

A battery has a limited amount of energy, once it is depleted the danger is gone, but your charger does not. What i want to know is, if the battery has an internal short, would the safety of the charger/battery be enough to keep your e-cig from causing a lightshow on your night stand....

We cant control what people do with their starter kits. Having a video of what happens when you put a damaged battery to a charger, would help out the newcomers be more cautious as to what the plug into the wall.
