Is anyone a member of another forum where we can post this idea??? We really need to get this out. I'm gonna put it on my vapersplace page... but Im not sure how many people look at that... If you are a member of another forum PLEASE post the link in there and get them to go post on the mythbusters forum... they don't have to watch the show they just need to post!

Great idea! I posted to NuVapor.

From the Mythbusters message board:

No the reality is that you do not know what you are talking about..Some of the medical profession are Binding together now, accusing the FDA of False Reports. These are Doctors and Professors That Actually Care About the Health of People.

You know, if we could get the AMA behind e-cigs, we could go a long way in getting e-cigs recognised as a viable alternative and I'm sure they have considerable weight with the FDA. FDA may not care about "hopelessly addicted" nicotine addicts like us, but an organisation like AMA endorsing e-cigs may get them to back off. Has anyone contacted them?

I have a better idea. Let's all just keep our pieholes shut about e-cigs. The less attention, the better.

Screw that noise. The more people that know the better. I vape in public and always will. When I smoked in public I didn't give a @#$% I knew it was killing me, I threw my buts out the window. I didn't care what other people thought. Why should I hide something I believe "from my own experiences and travels" is healthier? I'm doing everything I can to let people know about E-cigs. We need to get to the bottom of this, before they end up banning potentially the best life saving device ever made on earth.

The cat is already out of the bag on e-cigarettes. Trying to withdraw from the spotlight will not help us in this situation. The time has come to educate and to try our best to change public opinion on e-cigs. While I understand your stance, unfortunately that time has passed.

I googled is nicotine harmful to your health and was surprised to read different articles that stated it can actuall be good for your health. No evidence that nicotine causes cancer. Nicotine is a naturally ocurring compound and found in the food chain. Helps improve memory and concentration, and helps improve a number of conditions including:
Depression, schizophrenia, Parkinnson's disease and attention disorder. Nicotine water has already hit the market.

Nicotine is a stimulant not unlike caffeine and it affects the brain. If you were to OD on nic, you'd experience the same effects that you would OD-ing on too much caffeine. Nicotine is dangerous if you ingest it, however. (ihalation and ingestion being two different things).
And I have read that people that use nicotine are less likely to develop alzheimers disease (wish I could remember where I read it).

Non-smokers (that don't vape) demonize the nicotine as what's bad about smoking. When the fact is that it's the combustion, the burning is what makes them dangerous...not the nicotine.
