My insomnia is your gain (maybe:))...
I speed steeped the Tropico in an ultrasonic cleaner, and it is the same as the first time I dripped the first batch. The only change I made is that I dropped the mix to 15% instead of the initial 20%. It is still sweet, and it is still Tropical Lifesavers with pineapple in front. However, since MVJ will not be sweetening DIY extracts in the future, we will all have to add sweeteners to our tastes. I do think this mix is tasty, but it is not an ADV for me. I tend to lean to sour flavors and minty/menthol mixes for that. This is oddly great, however, with iced tea. I'm tempted to add a little Koolada to the mix to see if it would knock some of the heavy sweet off the back of the tongue. Any thoughts about that? I like this mix of Tropico so far, so I'm cautious to drop the flavor down to 10%.
FWIW, I've filled a Smoktech Vivi Rebuildable tank with Tropico, and the flavor is as good as dripping so far. I don't have a great track record sticking with any of the Vivi products, so I'm interested to see how long I like the performance.

I have also speed steeped version 2 of the Midnight Frost. It is also the same as the other batch, as far as I can tell. I still get a big hit of menthol with a bit of sour-ish berry. I have both batches loaded into identical carto-tanks with the same resistance carto. I noticed that the first batch of Midnight Frost is missing a bit of the menthol hit that it had a few days ago, which is really weird. I don't think I have ever had that happen in the space of a couple of days before. Of course, I vaped through at least 5ml in just two days so maybe I vaped all the menthol away...

I have also dripped the Caramel Apple out of curiosity, because I have been letting it steep for about 2 weeks now. It has definitely developed more flavor...so much so that I think I should knock it down to at least 15% and maybe 10%. I'm still getting a bit of tannin-like bitterness that I think might be caused by too much extract in the mix. I'll post again if I manage a better mix.

OK, first off I have to say WOW!!!!
ordered from MVJ on Thurs at 4ish, got a confermation right away, and an email from Diane at 10:30 that night with a tracking # !!! can you say fast service.
recived my order today

so here we go my first review,,,,,

rogue 3 pack DIY sampler--1.rogue original DIY
2.rogue ry4 DIY
3.rogue touch of spice DIY
4.rogue ry4 premixed 50/50 36mg 37ml
5.toasted butter almond cake DIY

ROGUE RY4
the rogue ry4 DIY and premix that I made are the exact same flavor.
It is a perdominant tabacco with undertones of caramel and vanilla
my first few hits I was not sure because I am used to that sweet ... ry4!!
then after I sat down and started to hit it and really taste the flavors,,,, well I really like it!! better then any sweet ... ry4!!

ROGUE ORIGINAL
this is my first expiriance with NETs, and i have to say it is very authentic in taste to tabacco, unlike all the DIY syntetic flavors I have mixed that to me really do not taste that tabaccoish.
it is a mild flavor with a nice throat hit and the taste is really nice, no chemicel taste at all!!!
oh and I feel it more in my head like that first cig of the day head rush, just not as much and yuck without the stink!! LOL!!

ROGUE TOUCH OF SPICE
holy ...., this one is really good, I thought it was the one I would like the least,,,,and I like it the most!!
you really taste everything, the tabacco and the spices, they taste so fresh and real!! amazing!!
and the spice is not overbareing, and you get it more on the exhale
love it

TOASTED BUTTER ALMOND CAKE
this one too, is holy .... good, tastes like the real thing wow!!
you get the cake flavor first and then the almond, that delish almond flavor,,and you can taste it in your mouth
also it is not overly sweet to me, but just right

I am using myfreedomsmokes 36mg 50/50 unflavored nic to mix
this is how they taste to ME, remember taste is very subjective, but yucky .... is just yucky, and these jucies I feel are made with heart (thanks Diane) and quality ingrediants, and are just plain good, now whats your flavor,,who knows try them!!
On another note this is without steeping, I made small 6ml testers, Im not the waiting kind and also want to know the taste before and after steeping.
tomorow I get my 12--15ml and 12--30ml bottles in the mail and will make some bigger bacthes for steeping.
will repost on the steeped ones.

this is the first order that I have gotten in my 3 1/2 months of vaping that actually taste as I thought it would, I am a happy camper!:vapor:
happy vaping
Flavio
P.S. my spelling sucks LOL!!sorry

I finished my second round of 10 ml Tropico. I mixed it at 15%, and eventually added some distilled vinegar to it to tame the sweetness just a little. MVJ has stopped adding the sweetener since I purchased mine, so anyone else will likely need to add some sweetener to their Tropico.

I also started in with my Caramel Apple, and like a ....., started tweaking it and pretty much ruined it (but it is still vapable so I'm "suffering through" this batch, almost done). It was actually pretty good, and I thought I wold just add a tiny bit more sweetness to it. I tried adding Stevia, which is the wrong sweetener for this extract. There is something about the flavor of the Stevia that mixes with the extract to yield an artificial flavor...not good. I think I will mix the next batch at 15% and start my assessment over.

I plan on ordering the Tangerine and Cherry this week too. Out of all of the tobacco extracts, which one might be best to try for someone (me) who has not ever had a tasty tobacco flavor? I tend to like sour/citrus fruits and mints. I read great reviews of some tobacco flavors that make me want to try them, but so far every tobacco vape I have tried tasted awful.

LOL, that's quite a collection. Do you think that'll do it for a little while? :) I feel like a slacker, I mix 15ml each of 3 flavors at a time...

Thanks for the great reviews flavsfood :) happy to hear they are working out so good for you :)

Stoneface nothing wrong with not digging tobaccos but if I had to force you to vape one  I'd probably recommend the ones that have a fruit note to them for you.
Thanks. Which ones have a fruit note? Maybe there is one that is more fruit, less tobacco? I don't really know the flavors by name...for example, is Rogue one of the fruit-note tobaccos?

I do not think a face palm is in order here. This could be a good opportunity for you to invite all of your vape friends over and host a vape party! :D

the rogue original is pertty plain tobacco taste with a littttllllle sweetness
the rogue touch of spice is just the right amount of spice, not to much but pleasantly there
will let you know how the country squire rum raisan and caramel apple are when i get them and mix by weeks end.

I have a few vape friends that i have had over to taste my stuff and gave them some to take home and they have given me some of theirs to taste as well, it is nice to share and trade and hangout vaping!!
the plam face slap is the money spent!! but its less then for smokes and not going to kill me, amen!!

I'm liking the Caramel Apple, at least until I decided to tamper with it. Midnight Frost so far is my favorite of the 3 I ordered.

The fruit ones I know of are My Hero Black and Blue and there are several under the Black Honey Tobacco synthetic line-- one in peach and one in apple I think.

Just mixed up my own concoction with the Burley flavoring---can't wait to see how it comes out. Flavor smells very nice on its own like all these flavorings. Nice to have the option of the unflavored tobaccos to do some playing.
What did you mix with the unflavored tobaccos?

After it steeps a bit I will tell you guys all about it. :) I tried to keep things on the lite side as with these NET's and any NET's they can be quite clogging and seriously shorten the life of any coil, wick etc. RBA people will be ok with that I guess ;)

Getting ready to sample my Banging Butterscotch Wicked Wench :D

Ok vaping Butterscotch Wench now. My first thought is I need this butterscotch flavor for sure--its really good  But my oh my not for the faint hearted---the description on my vape juice about the wench is spot on. This is super hard core tobacco there is no way I could vape straight up wench alone! No slight to the vendor but this is something along the lines of what I've seen others describing as desiring an "ashtray" type tobacco makes my Hero and the others seem like child's play....lol

Both wenches I have (the flavored ones) are dark thick and heavy flavors with a harsh after bite that I am sure will appeal to some---at 15% its all quite detectable and a bit much for me. I could see myself vaping this at a lower percentage---so anyone reading this I would start at ten percent or lower as its a doozy.
