no problem, but as far as rebuildables go, it is easy. ALL rebuildable attys will leak on you if the air hole is pointed down. As far as the wire goes, tearing apart an old carto for the wire is just in case they dont have any at the moment.
I've tried oxidized mesh, un oxidized mesh, heating my kanthan, not heating my kanthal, and every single time it pops between the top of the center post and the top of the wick, just "poof!" And it's on 3.0 ohms....idk what else to do, tried the screwdriver trick and the coil glowed fine then I out a wick in and it wouldn't work at all.....advice?....I also have a nautilus I can try to rebuild if that is easier?
I'm in the identical spot as you, hope you figured it out.. I still am getting this one stupid hotspot on the wire that attaches to the positive post!grrrrrr

I've been using RBA's for a week or 2 now. It gets a lot easier.
The coil above is the one I've been using for a few days. 2 wraps of 30ga kanthal .7 ohms.
It hits like a truck.
I started with a regulated device until I was comfortable, but now I'm a fan of mechanical mods.
After messing about with the Smoktech RSST for about three days I FINALLY got it right! With a lot of help from watching Pbusardos videos in particular and going through many of the posts here in the forums I got the 400 SS mesh wick just right and the 28GA kanthol 3/4 wrap just right without any hot spots on the Smoktech Natural and this setup is AMAZING! So to any RBA n00bs like me out there, don't give up! For the love of vaping don't give up, if you are frustrated just set it down and go back to what is working for you be it atomizers or cartomizers or clearos for a few days (or hours in my case) until you get the drive to make it work. It is everything that people rave about, RBA's...this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship.
why do you have two 'lines' on each coil? does it makes any difference on vapor?
