How about Moo for the black spots on white? My boss' daughter named her cat Moo because it's FAT, but I can see it for a spotted kitty too. This little guy kinda reminds me of my little black & white cat Devin who I lost 2 years ago. Miss her!

You say he's a purr engine...my other cat is named Harley because she had a loud purr as a baby. She's also around 20 years old so it's a lucky name!
