Doesn't seem to be possible.

It appears nothing is patented, trademarks are few, and Chinese manufacturers seem to care little about such things anyway. The management of this forum is probably more concerned about alleged "counterfeits". But really, what's to counterfeit if there are few, if any, legally registered products?

The name eGo is alleged to be trademarked, but I want the dox or it didn't happen.

So happy to add to your confusion. Perhaps the situation is just chaos to begin with?

Heck, "I" could start making the 510 or parts for it, advertise them as such and be well within my rights.

Well, I can try....

-510-
Joye 510
Janty 510
Titan
Vapor King (on vaporkings.com, NOT on vapor4life.com)
The Yeti
And I *think* the Volcano Magma is a 510 as well

-eGo-
Joye eGo
Janty eGo
Tornado

The Riva is a knock-off, so it is not technically an eGo. The 901 is a different model all together, and is not related to the 510, or the eGo.

All 510 atomizers and cartomizers will work on an eGo battery, or the Riva battery.

I'm pretty sure by definition, any not-Joye 510 is a knockoff, too.

I don't think 510 is a generic descriptor, like 16340 is for batteries. At least... I don't think 510 started as a generic descriptor.

With the possible exception of Volcano (I don't know if they sell a Joye 510 or not), all of the other branded 510's and eGo's I've listed are genuine Joye. They're just re-branded.

Right, I probably should have clarified that "not-Joye" was intended to mean "not made by Joye".

They *are* made by Joye. They are simply given different trade names by websites. But they are Joye 510's and eGo's.

Like I said, the only possible exception is the Volcano Magma. I'm not sure if their 510 is Joye or not.

Yes, I know. I'm not arguing that at all.

What I'm saying is that there are several "510's" out there that are made by SLB and other companies that are sold simply as "510" or other brand names, when they're effectively knockoffs.
