Nano Clearos issue

I recently tried the Nano clearomizers and they are great except for one fairly significant problem. 3 of the clearos now have come apart while attached to my x2 in my pocket, coating everything in juice. In all 3 cases, they seem to have come apart where the plastic tube meets the metal base.

Does anyone have any idea why this would keep happening?

Unfortunately they are not pocket friendly due to how they're constructed.
They can't take any bending (even a little) like would happen in a pocket. A couple of people have had some success at putting them back together.
Seems there more suited to at home/desk use.

Get some cones for the x2, that seems to protect them enough. At least that's what I've done.

Doh! I completely missed that the OP was using X2s. Yep, get a cone to beef it up! Sorry

I would suggest getting a lanyard if your using them on stick batts.

Thanks for the suggestions, I didn't realize they are so fragile. I have a cone, I will try using them with it and see if I have any better luck.

I use the cones with the nanos on my X2s and it's working out great. I don't screw the cones all the way down because it seems to block the airflow to the nano if I do. I'm getting almost as much vapor production with this setup as I do with a clearo. Since my latest batch of clearos seem to have a leaking problem and my newer nanos don't, I'm almost preferring this setup.

You can drill a small hole in the cone to increase airflow.
