nano vs. micro?

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask but I've tried the search function and it turned up little to nothing. What is the major difference in building a nano coil and building a micro coil? What defines them?

Nano coil - <1.4 mm in diameter
Micro coil - 1.4-1.65 mm in diameter
standard coil - >1.65 mm in diameter

According to those definitions (with which I agree) my coils are standard coils at 1.83mm. I use the 1.83mm rod on the Artistic Coil Winder from Hobby Lobby or Amazon. Right now, I'm vaping one of those coils on my Kayfun 3.1 with 8 wraps of 28ga Kanthal and getting a solid 1.5 ohm reading. To me, it's a perfect size for inserting a cotton wick and getting it through easily. I can vape and "hot box" the Kayfun without experiencing a dry hit, so it's wicking pretty heavily.

1.83mm is also the perfect diameter for recoiling Protanks and the Nautilus. I usually use 32ga for the Protanks and do a 5/4 wrap for around 2 ohms.
