Hello! I'm brand new to the vaping world and after tons of reading and researching, I finally went to my local vape shop and purchased my first e-cig (or is it mod??). I REALLY want to quit smoking. Before I go any further, please forgive me for my lack of knowledge and terminology...this is all so new to me!
I'm actually pretty shocked at how much I spent, but was reassured I'd save $$ in the long run by saving on analogs. I ended up getting a Provari Mini with a Kanger tank, 1.2 ohm with a couple 50/50 blend juices at 12mg. I am currently a 3/4 - 1 PAD smoker. At the shop, I really enjoyed the sample vapes and didn't have any issues with coughing or harshness, but with my own personal device I can barely tolerate it. I'm thinking it's because the drip tip bore is too wide which is causing me to direct lung hit (no matter what I set the air control valve at) and I really would rather mouth hit. I did purchase two additional drip tips that are slightly narrower than the stock Kanger tip, but there's little difference. Also, the silicone covers at the shop had a small hole and I think that made a huge difference...I actually prefer that type of draw. BTW the voltage is set at 3.0. I tried higher but was getting juice splatter in my mouth.
Are there any mouthpieces/drip tips that have super narrow bores that would work with my setup? I'm feeling really discouraged and have barely begun! I'd appreciate any help.
