Narrowing down my next mod and prices...

As an owner of a kamry K100 (my only mod) I really, really like it. I vape around 1.5ohms and keep a protank 2 mini, nautilus, evod, iclear16, and iclear30 in rotation. One day I do plan on getting into RBA to get the full effect from mechs, but honestly I just prefer the look and feel compared my current go-to device, the MVP.

I'm still learning about things such as voltage job, contact points, floating pins, different types of threading, etc, and I'd really appreciate some input from a more seasoned mech user. I'm trying to narrow down my next mod to one of four. I wish I could buy them all !

Of course all of these will be clones, as I am vaping on a budget. I'm thinking hcigar, as from what I've read they seem to be a very respectable company and make great clones.

Nemesis

I like the look, and I know it has a strong following. I'm having some trouble finding it in stock (I prefer a SS, patina kind of annoys me) but no luck. I don't like the fact that I have to buy a magnetic kit, if only because it's another package to wait for, etc. The fallen angel is absolutely amazing, and one of the things I find most appealing.

Stingray

This thing is drop dead sexy, but again, having trouble finding an HCigar version that isn't brass. Everybody seems to be cleaned out. From what I understand, it has better contact points, a magnetic pin, and better ventilation than the nemesis. I've found a few for 50.00+ and I'd like to pull the trigger, but I have a feeling there is a better price somewhere...just don't know where.

King (Beast, Clone, I've seen a few different titles)

I really dig the look. As a leo, I think it's absolutely AWESOME it has a laser etched lion. So sweet. But not knowing much about the pin, the voltage drop, and what not, it makes it hard getting one -just- because I dig the etching.

Have heard good things, but nothing more.

Eventually, I will own them all, but what should I go with first?

As far as a vendor, I'm leaning towards vaporoyalty. I have heard from people here that they have absolutely terrible customer service, but I just can't find a better price elsewhere

And my last question..I know I sure bug you guys a lot, but outside of mtbakervapor, where can I find good priced batteries? They have efest 18650 for 7.99 and efest 18350s for 4.99, I believe. Cases for both are between 1.49 and 1.99 and hold two.

I have all those clones.
They are all very nice.

1. You don't "have" to use magnets with a nemesis
I don't use them in mine and they are smooth as silk.
I keep my mods clean.
There is a reason here are ten thousand good reviews of the nemesis clone.

2. The stingray is awesome, sets up similar to a nemesis, comes stock with magnets, and is a joy to use.
Damn fine mod.
3. The king was my first mech and still one of my favorites.
The screws in the top cap are pretty simple to understand , and work flawlessly.
Voltage drop is not an issue to fret over with quality clones of these mods.
My SS king hits like Chuck Liddell.

I have not dealt with and know absolutely nothing about vaporoyalty but after an experience I had trying to save a few dollars, I MUST advise you to NEVER EVER deal with any vendor without a great reputation and reviews here on ECF in order to save a few dollars!!!! I did that same thing and purchased from eLiquid-USA and got totally burned! Things that I was charged for and were on the packing slip were left out of my shipment. I spent over 2 months trying to contact them using every means available (emails, phone calls, web chats...etc) and was constantly and totally ignored. Ended up having to re-purchase said items from another vendor and the whole ordeal ended up costing me over 10 times the $5 I was trying to save by purchasing through eLiquid-USA!! In this highly unregulated fledgling market that had over $2 BILLION in sales last year alone, there's sure to be a ton of @$$**l€$ that WILL rip you off and never respond to you. Deal ONLY with reputable vendors and spend a little bit more $ if necessary knowing they'll resolve your problem (especially if it's their mistake).

If you don't mind the wait, FastTech. Since you already have a mod to hold you over, I'd go through FastTech. And I'd recommend, the Panzer. I just like mine a lot. Nothing against the others. Panzer magnets are R1004 from SuperMagnetMan also.
And I'd also recommend Sony VTCwhatevers.

You will love dripping and you can get started on it right now with the K100. You'll notice hardly any difference when you switch your mod. It's mostly the atty and the build, not necessarily the mod.

Mechanical Mods - Mechanical Mod - Eciggity

I have dealt with them and they are a pretty good company to order from if you want to stick with the Hcigar clones.. Not too bad on pricing. I got my Nemesis on ebay but you don't have to go that route. Also another good company is 101 vape. They have good customer service and very quick shipping times... I would take a look at some of the Infinite clones as well because they are getting very good reviews as of late with their ability to make 1:1 clones and are in the top tier of the clone market with HCigar.

I really want a Stingray clone but if you don't mind the logo then I would say go with a Nemesis because it is just an all around awesome mod IMO. I did do the magnet upgrade but only because I like the feel of the throw on it with magnets..

If you don't mind waiting for FT then you can check out a company called Focalecig and I have ordered from them and they have amazing customer service for a China based company with some great prices. There is a Labor Day sale going on right now and you can get some pretty good deals on some mods in your wish list. Check out this thread if you want to go that route and we are all some pretty hospitable people with help answering any questions that you may have about the company and their products. Nikkita is the FC Guru and has some blog posts about customer reviews on products so you can go check it out.

I just got my first mech today, a Turtleship V2 clone from angelcigs.com for $22.99 with Free shipping. They are a Chinese company like Fasttech and Focalecig, but they have a US warehouse in CA. I ordered Monday and it arrived in FL today! That is fast shipping and this thing is VERY solid, good threads. Now I am waiting on batts and charger, so I can go sub ohm on my Patriot clone from Fasttech.

I emailed them and asked if they would be stocking drip tips, other accessories and they got back to me quickly with a yes. Great prices, good customer service and fast, free shipping...that is exactly what will keep me coming back for more mods

Oh wow I just ordered the same thing from AngelCigs on Wednesday. Good to hear that it's solid. I've always loved how Turtleship's looked. Can't wait to get it! Hopefully they ship as fast as you got yours!

I'd stay with Hcigar or Infinite clones.

Get them off of eBay from vendors with outstanding feedback scores. You will pay a lot less and get much more.

Since you like the Stingray, but not the brass, might I suggest the Black Copper? It hits like a train and has all of the other things you were looking for.

I second the E-ciggity post.Awesome shipping and top-notch customer service. I have all those mods but the King (next purchase) and I really like my nemesis. Its an HCigar one and for the life of me I cannot remember what site I got it at. It wasn't fasttech. As for VaporRoyalty, I have purchased a few things from there, and had no problems. I have been liking Vape101 of late. Just made a purchase a few days ago. I have been hearing great reviews on the Infinite Black Stingray.

And just seen the post by blueGrassTubb, and I agree. I got my second Stingray from there, as well as many Kayfuns and other RBA's. Just stick with a seller with a high seller rating. Good luck with your purchase! Show it off when you get it.!
